  1. As a longtime Photoshop user I would love this as well, but are we sure this is even possible? How much of the PSD and PS document formats are open for appropriation by other developers? There are so many things that can be done with Smart Objects from stacking modes to 3rd party plugin recall, not to mention objects within objects. I have yet to run across any alternative graphics application that can interpret Smart Objects, so I'm wondering if this might be outside the realm of possibility. In the meantime, my migration strategy has been to simply start new projects outside of the Adobe ecosystem.
  2. Thank you for providing us with an opportunity to test out the latest developments of this impressive application. It is one of the first couple of apps I've encountered so far that truly flex the iPad's potential as a serious image processing tool. For a beta it has been surprisingly reliable so far, but I have run across a few important areas where the desktop version of Affinity Photo still has some significant advantages. Please forgive me if they're already present and have simply eluded me, but assuming they haven't I'm hopeful these are on the roadmap for future versions: * Saving custom "Export Image" presets so that we don't need to repeatedly customize all of the settings every time we export an image. * Viewing layer masks so they can be modified with a brush. The desktop app lets you do this by option+clicking the mask. I'd like to be able to do this on the iPad app as well. * Disable thumbnail view for the Adjustments/Filters lists. Considering the sheer breadth of options, these lists have grown cumbersome to scroll through, especially if we already know exactly what filter we're searching for. * Make the "Import From Photos" interface larger or even better, full screen. It currently behaves like a small drop down menu and the image thumbnails are extremely small. If the Photos app is going to serve as our digital assets management program, it should be much easier to see and interact with. * Allow for selecting multiple images at a time in the Panorama/Stack/HDR import windows. It currently requires adding them one at a time and doesn't remember the last folder you were browsing. Thanks!
