Bruce, when you are on the layer with the marching ants do a two finger tap and deselect is one of the choices that appears.

I imported my LUTs into iCloud and access them through the folder icon. It's a bit of a pain to search the folder for each but it works.

You have to click on the words "outer glow" as well as move the slider.

Found another bug on this newest beta for iPad. The constant loading of photos with a black screen has changed to the message saying opening photo back on the layer stack but no photo will open. The problem persists until the app is closed and reopened.

I've been having massive problems making changes to blending modes and opacity on a particular layer. Seemingly out of nowhere a different layer will be selected instead of the target layer. So I spend a lot of time trying to restore the affected layer to it's previous state. This has been happening through several betas but it seems to be worse now. It is extremely frustrating.

I am about ready to stop working because it is so difficult to make sure the changes are being done on the right layer. Help please!!!

I have been having a lot of trouble while working with layers (which is all the time). As I am working the layer selection jumps to a different layer so I end up making changes to the wrong layer. It is extremely frustrating. I have not been able to figure out how to force the adjustments to the correct layer. I just got the latest beta version today and the problem has remained consistent.

I just painted some white on an empty layer and when I scrolled through the blend modes an unwanted box appeared. It is not the size of the whole image but close to the size of the paint. It makes it hard to blend with the hard edges.

Ian, I have not been able to carry layers into Photoshop.

How can I skew or distort a layer? I am also not able to figure out how to do the live perspective. I get the grid but it isn't attached to the layer. Thanks in advance. I really need to skew/distort a layer, not just liquefy.

I've found that the inpainting only works for me on a merged layer or the original photo. I can't get the "current layer and below" to work.

I am finding that the newest beta version freezes when I'm trying to save my project. This doesn't happen every time but too often for my taste. I am finding exporting is slow and just spins at times.

For anyone else having difficulty creating a drop shadow or any other FX, you must tap on the words "outer shadow" to access the controls. That's what I was missing.

Thanks! Somehow I got it to work this time!! Madame, I'm on the iPad Pro but seeing your blend mode helped me figure it out!

MEB, I was able to get a shadow inside the object but haven't gotten anything outside the object even when using "outer shadow."

Is there a way to create a drop shadow? I've tried using fx but can't get anything to look even close to a drop shadow.

Yesterday I installed the beta version and since then haven't had any problem placing photos. Yay!!

Is there any way to create a drop shadow? The fx outer shadow doesn't give the kind of drop shadow I'm wanting.

I have discovered that in some instances the placed photo can be found over in an empty area of the workspace if I drag my finger along the screen. It doesn't happen every time but sometimes it's as though it's opening in the wrong place and invisible. Maybe this might help the developers.

I followed the instructions but it did not fix the problem. The place photo will work sometimes and sometimes it won't. I shouldn't have to go back to settings with each import should I?

Problems continue and actually multiply! :( I still continue to face the problem of being unable to place a photo in my layer stack. Then this morning I couldn't open a photo to begin a new project so I deleted the app and reinstalled. Unfortunately I lost all the projects I had done. Is there any way to recover those? It really makes me sad. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling I was unable to open a photo to begin a new project. I have no idea what's going on but I'm really unhappy. I eventually opened a different photo but something isn't right here. Help, please!!!!!!!!!!!
