I know, eh? I have been using photoshop since ver 5, and it's become this toxic love/hate relationship where I'd sorely love to go elsewhere, but haven't ever found anything that works with how I work. AP seems to finally give me a way out, which is very exciting. But more exciting still is the prospect that I may be able to process my images on a tablet. That would be just amazing. I have the new iPad on order, so next week I hope to find out just what's doable. but even if the whole iPad workflow doesn't pan out for me, I would still be set free if I could use the Edit In... functionality come the fall.

FWIW, I made the same mistake. Bought the software and then realized it would not run on my iPad Air. Thankfully, the new 105 iPad Pro arrives next week. ;)

Hey all, Martin here. Amateur photographer. Love to tinker with my photos and very excited to learn how to use Affinity Photo and see if it can take over my digital workflow. :)

New user. Extremely excited to have found this software. Instantly bought both the desktop and iPad versions, and I'm looking forward to learning and processing my photos this way. Follow on question: the WWDC keynote showed that the upcoming Photos app will have "Edit In..." functionality. When that becomes available in the fall, will we then be able to do what Newbie has described? If so, that'd be awesome. I'm still not sure about my workflow until that is the case. I do not store all my photos in the iCloud photos...
