What does the program print. I lighten and darken my monitor, lighten and darken my picture, but the print always comes out the same, too dark. What am I missing.

Printing

Thank you for the responses. This is the problem. I well realize that the monitors brightness will affect the way I see the picture, and I use a Spyder three monitor calibrator. That is why I have lightened, darkened the monitor, with each monitor adjustment, I change the tonality of the picture, however, regardless of how I adjust the picture, even giving it a heavy color cast, the print I get is always exactly the same. I now have about 20 prints all exactly the same regardless of what I do to the image on the screen. Where is the program getting its information from? Now I use Red River paper exclusively, and with my Photoshop Elements, I always used their profiles. But in my communications with Red River, they do not offer Profiles for Affinity. they say "I spoke with our tech team & they said Affinity is not able to use profiles for print purposes."
