The Anti-alias option in Photoshop (or in Gimp for that matter) is not the same as a dedicated overfill feature. The anti-alias option isn't actually a good solution, and often delivers not-so-great to unusable results. The application either needs to be 'aware' of anti-aliasing and overfill it by default (ClipStudio), and/or a dedicated overfill option is included.
Anti-aliasing by itself generally doesn't solve all use cases satisfactorily.

Color quantization below 8 colors has a problem.
1 - original
2 - 8 colors
3 - 4 colors
4 - 2 colors

At 4 colors, white area(255,255,255) will be dithered.
At 2 colors, the image is completely messed.

Yeah, you're right, Cyrillic characters are included in Extended ASCII so should be no problem with Latin system fonts such as Arial.
Asian characters are not included.

I’ve just checked this on my iPad. The tooltips are incorrect for Chinese and Japanese, but correct for Russian (i.e. Cyrillic): I suspect the same applies to the desktop apps.

Would be nice if you could add  alpha option to select premultiplied/straight for alpha capable format such as PNG/TIF/TGA.
it would make round trip editing with other apps easier.

Straight alpha means RGB channels including transparent part will remain untouched without filled with a color.

if I open a TGA that's with straight alpha and export as TGA, it will be premultiplied which is pain.

Would be nice if you could add this.
I know I can achieve it by closing open curve, but Illustrator does it and it's useful.

New competitor in prototyping league showed up called Drama.

Currently Affinity is very incomplete in terms of typography especially for non-Latin language users.
So it's not useful for printing/publishing.
In order to make Affinity usable, there need to be additional use cases.
Such as alternative to Powerpoint, XD.

I know many people using Affinity for presentation or prototyping.
 
Or please make the typography feature complete first instead.

Scanner need to be recognized by Image Capture app.

The Assistant rasterizes the object when you attempt to use the Perspective Tool on it. You can disable that from the Assistant (Applying Filters to vector layers > take no action) however, the Perspective Tool doesn't work on vector objects.
When you manually rasterize a vector object with an FX, the app asks you to preserve the layer FX. I wonder if we could do the same when manually rasterizing and ask the user if they want to preserve the layer FX.
I have a feeling this might already be logged but it doesn't pop up often.
Update - found the bug report. What's also interesting is that the Layer retains the FX symbol on it.

After used Perspective/Mesh Warp tool on a vector object, it will lose layer effects.
if it's a pixel object, this doesn't happen.

it usually means the one copied from the original copy. so it means personal copy or illegal copy.

Then people think Affinity can be installed on only one machine.
Because they think number of installation as number of copy.
So "Serif Softwareの1コピー" should probably be 1ライセンス(one license)

Understand from the development standpoint, but if Serif is serious about tackling the issue, either you have to hire an expert/consultant on this topic, and/or work more transparently or actively with users like @ashf.
Personally I'm impressed by the work @ashf and the Japanese Affinity userbase has done what's basically free QA for Serif. You don't find it in other places very often. 
Given time, people will lose interest, give up and move on.
Just my 2 cents.

Most of thing I posted here except directional quote haven't been fixed in 1.8.4.663
Especially unwanted no-break rule above need to be fixed asap.
