I would like Sreif to bring back "real" vector brush from DrawPlus to Affinity.
Affinity's vector brush is actually a raster brush stroke with a curve, pseudo vector brush.
Why this has been changed when Affinity was developed?

1. create a empty layer
2. draw selection with marquee
3. select Move tool(V)
4. transform the selection
5. select Marquee tool(M) again
6. select any layer you want

Improvements have been made to the code in terms of some automation, but we acknowledge that the full solution will take some time and so for now did not put the change in the marketing "fix" list, but yes it's better than 1.8.3

We have made fixes/improvements to this area (Character Panel: Font Category changes after changing font or deselecting object) of the program in the latest release.

Would be nice if you could add  alpha option to select premultiplied/straight for alpha capable format such as PNG/TIF/TGA.
it would make round trip editing with other apps easier.

Straight alpha means RGB channels including transparent part will remain untouched without filled with a color.

if I open a TGA that's with straight alpha and export as TGA, it will be premultiplied which is pain.

For those wondering, what this actually means is support for fonts installed through Adobe’s Creative Cloud app. Nice!

Changed brush parameter shortcut from Alt+RightMouseButton to Ctrl+Alt (same as macOS) Added --legacy-wintab command line parameter, which will use low-precision mouse input and tablet pressure data (the same as previous Affinity versions). This is only for users of old tablets that don't report valid high precision input (e.g. Wacom Graphire). 1.8.4.674 release notes
