Would be nice if  you could add toggle key to switch between brush and eraser. (not B/E but single key to switch)
I was asked this functionality from artists who use Affinity as painting tool many times.
 

Yes, you can. You have to adapt the keyboard shortcuts for Photo >> Tools. But there are several tools assigned to key B and E, so you have to reduce them to Paint Brush and Erase Brush Tool only to get a toggle (I think, never tested completely).

I suppose you already have a plan to improve this compatibility but I post this just in case.
Raster layer mask of fill layer(solid color layer) created in Photoshop become transparency instead of a mask in Affinity.
Masks should be preserved as a mask if possible like on pixel layers.

Taking my above example again – a closed object to be divided by several crossing open paths:
select all open paths and change stroke width to 0.001 pt
(smaller values are possible but that might later add redundant nodes)
(you may need to change Preferences > User Interface > Decimal Places > Points: "3" to actually see the value, otherwise the stroke width field will display "0 pt") Layer > Expand Stroke(s) boolean Add
(optional to make the expanded strokes a single object for easy cleanup) add the closed form at the bottom to selection boolean Subtract
(optional to get rid of the strokes right away) boolean Divide voilà, done in less than 30 seconds Note that there will be a tiny gap between the divided objects. But keep in mind that it's mere 0.35 µm! That's about twice the size of a Corona virus…
In other words, I have to zoom in at 75000% to actually see it as two lines in Outline Mode on my non-retina display…

Thanks for the report. Just to let you know I've just fixed the issue, and will put the fix into a beta release shortly if you would like to test it out.

Why the translation of "View" menu changed from 表示 to ビュー?
Adobe uses 表示, so previous translation was better.

ハードウェア高速化 would be more suitable for translation of "Hardware Acceleration" in the Performance setting.

For the "Astrophotography" filter group in AP,
天体写真 is proper translation.

On Mac, the translation of "Fill:" is cut off.(Move tool)
It supposed to be "塗りつぶし:", not "塗りつぶ"
Or 塗り might be better for the translation of "Fill" since Adobe uses Fill = 塗り、Stroke = 線

"Register your app" panel on startup,
再度表示しない is proper translation for the "Don't show me again" button.

This is the most confusing message that has been around since a long time ago.

L is for length.
This works only for straight lines, doesn't work for curved lines.

Currently Publisher can convert a pixel layer to an image layer(embedded image)
I assume Serif will expand this functionality to all layer type in future release.

I know seeing antialias gap between attached objects on editing screen is normal.
But at least I would like you to improve gap problem on export with raster format such as PNG/JPG.
(Without aligning to pixel grid, aligning to pixel grid won't work for tile pattern design/symbol sometimes)

Adobe IIlustrator has no gap on both editing screen and exported raster file.
What kind of magic they have?

Also please let us create a selection by cmd/ctrl clicking a channel.
Right clicking a channel to create a selection is awkward.

Would be nice if I cloud connect certain nodes I selected without snapping them each other.

A problem with "Join Curve" action of Node tool is that it connects nearest combination of nodes automatically, so I can not choose which combination.

UPDATE: this has been improved in v1.8. now you can connect nodes you selected.

Of course implementing it to Photo also would be nice.

Vector crop tool on an image that's not 100% opacity look strange.
It become different opacity though opacity value is the same.

As you see many major printers still require 2001. they are living in the past.
And they may keep using 2001 till the end of the world.
