  1. Not with only Affiniy, but Nick Collection that can be used in Affinity as a plugin has perspective collection. https://nikcollection.dxo.com/perspective-efex/
  2. Though Affinity needs to be improved on converting images to consistent size/aspect ratio.
  3. XnConvert can do that also. https://www.xnview.com/en/xnconvert/
  4. I can confirm this. I posted similar problem with Photoshop before. It seems that only Adobe's have this problem. It acquires an image object as a vector object(SVG/PDF contains an image). Clipboard content has a bitmap image also but it's not used when pasting it, Adobe's prefer PDF/SVG content. Tried on Mac also and the same result. Pasting to Office or Corel has very little or no quality degradation.
  5. Would be nice if the color selector was shown on the 1 column tool pallet also. Currently it's shown only on the 2 column tool pallet.
  6. Copying an object in Illustrator gets svg like below. it has width/height attribute in px unit. so it seems to be the cause of problem in Affinity. <svg version="1.1" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" x="0px" y="0px" width="428.6px" height="428.6px" viewBox="0 0 428.6 428.6" style="overflow:visible;enable-background:new 0 0 428.6 428.6;" xml:space="preserve"> <style type="text/css"> .st0{fill:#FFFFFF;stroke:#000000;stroke-miterlimit:10;} </style> <defs> </defs> <rect x="0.5" y="0.5" class="st0" width="427.6" height="427.6"/> </svg>
  7. Yeah, the crop icon is shown on layers regardless of whether it's vector or pixel. If it's a pixel, it supposed not to be a vector mask.
  8. Artboards often snap to objects that have floating point pixel so in that case it won't work as expected.(hard to notice it) Artboards should be aligned to the pixel grid regardless of snapping.
  9. Would be nice if you could add integer only mode to the pixel unit. (not hiding decimal point by rounding. actual data should be integer) This also should be applied to objects that's resized or rotated. This is useful for who work on pixel based artwork. It can prevent unwanted change of size or blurry image without checking each object that's pain. Also an object could snapped to another object that has decimal numbers on position/size, this is annoying.
  10. Creating an artboard by dragging haven't made the artboard aligned to pixel grid even if the doc unit is pixel before. In 1.9.2, artboards created by dragging is aligned to pixel grid.
  11. Affinity can import text in PSD as editable but can not export text in PSD as editable.
  12. Turn on "Import PSD text as Text rather than bitmap" option in Preferences>General Then reopen the PSD
  13. Translation for the Print commend should be consistent in all Affinity. I would suggest プリント. Currently プリント or 印刷 is being used inconsistently.
  14. I roughly know how them work. The problem is Serif's insufficient and inconsistent explanation. There is no clear mention about the one with the crop icon at all. There's "Mask to below" command and James Ritson call them "masking" in a tutorial video, so I assumed it's a mask. But from the explanation on the topic v_kyr linked, it's not suitable to call them a mask I think. OP call them "cropping" but it's not official name.
  15. Translation suggestion for tools in Photo/Designer(Pixel persona) Rectangular Marquee Tool = 長方形選択ツール Elliptical Marquee Tool = 楕円形選択ツール Column Marquee Tool = 列選択ツール Row Marquee Tool = 行選択ツール 選択 is more familiar than マーキー as the translation for the "Marquee(marquee selection)" to us. Options(Context Tool Bar) of the Freehand Selection Tool: Magnetic = マグネット Options(Context Tool Bar) of all select tools: Subtract = 削除 Flood Select Tool = 自動選択ツール Flood Erase Tool = 自動消去ツール Current translation for "Flood" is 塗りつぶし but it sounds strange for the selection/erase tool. (it's fine for Flood Fill Tool though) Adobe translates "Magic(of Magic Wand/Magic Eraser)" as 自動(means automatic), so 自動 sounds more natural.
  16. The first example "Crop the Lower Layer with the Top Layer" sounds strange to me. Isn't the one being cropped the top layer, is it?
  17. I see so the one with crop icon is actually a clipping but masking. Serif often call them "masking" or "mask", it's confusing.
  18. What's the use case for each type? They just mask the parent layer. so they look the same to me.
  19. It has been a pixel layer from the beginning. When you move a layer to right side of the thumbnail of a layer, it will have the crop icon regardless of whether pixel or vector.
  20. My question is not about raster and vector. Mask layer and Pixel layer as a mask. Did you see the picture I attached?
