    Honestly I'm not so interested in 3D painting feature. For me, workflow/behavior of alpha channel is the fundamental problem in order to use Affinity as a pro tool. Also adding more file format support would be nice.

Unbelievable speed of progress, while Affinity has still no clear schedule to implement it after 6 years. I think those who need vertical writing immediately should switch to VectorStyler.     Did you buy it on Mac App Store or Serif Store? if bought on Mac App Store, you can upgrade in the App Store app.

    I too prefer the Move tool to be on the top and the View tool not to be default tool. Strange thing is that the Move tool was on the top and Marquee tool was the default in PhotoPlus. What made Serif rethink about it...?

    Are you using trial version? I saw somebody using Mac claims similar problem.

    What happens if you disable the Clipboard History in the Windows system setting? I doubt that it related to this problem but just in case.

    Clipboard utilities tend to interfere copy & paste action in Affinity.

    I think artboards should be always aligned to pixel grid and integer pixel size regardless of the snapping setting when the document unit is pixel.

    Try these： 1. Turn on force pixel alignment option. 2. Turn off Hardware Acceleration in Preference>Performance.

    Correct, NO-GO. Actually NO-GO with any vector graphic apps except CorelDraw. Corel has been reverse engineering AI format more than 20 years. Still CorelDraw is not perfect at all. I often see broken layout when I open AI in CorelDraw. Most of apps including online converters that claim AI compatibility can open only PDF compatible AI or ancient AI(AI9 or older)

    I have no problem adding multiple strokes to a curve that's converted from text in 1.9.3. Possible scenario is that you are selecting multiple curves at once without noticing it.
