  1. Would be nice if you could make it more distinctive. It's too vague.
  2. STILL NOT WORKING. Do you need a help to fix search function? Affinity user group in Japan has members who are a web developer, if you can't figure out the problem. Asian full-text search needs special indexing system such as N-Gram. Latin full-text index won't work. Just FYI if you don't know about Asian full-text search.
  3. Non-native formats in Save command may cause the confusion. Like in other software, if you save as a non-native and continue to edit the file, you will make the change on it but the original native format. People often don't notice it and later they will regret. So saving non-native format from Export command is logical and safer.
  4. Would be nice if Affinity shows size tooltip while using the marquee tools and the crop tool. Like the one while using the shape tools - showing W and H. I know I can see it on the Transform panel but the tool tip is easier to see.
  5. Actually RTL support was requested just a month ago. and it's already implemented though it's not solid yet. Unbelievable speed of development, isn't it? If you're interested in it, just report a problem or request a change on their forum. Often they will implement them within in a month.
  6. VectorStyler now starts supporting RTL. https://www.vectorstyler.com/
  7. I assume so. Serif won't tell even if it's fixed I think. So I just asked people here see if it's fixed. I haven't bought the Chartwell font yet, I'd like to confirm see if it's fixed.
  8. Also floating panels come above window of other apps such as Motion.
  9. The development team might be different. Product itself is not identical. Windows : ACDsee Photo Studio 2021 Mac : ACDsee Photo Studio for Mac 7
  10. The preview for afdesign is not shown on Windows. But the preview for afphoto is shown.
  11. ACDsee does not show the preview of Affinity files on Windows somehow. Is it Mac only...?
  12. Please vote here if you too want it. https://feedback.photoshop.com/conversations/bridge/bridge-request-to-recognise-afphoto-files-to-display-thumbnails-and-full-full-screen-previews/5f5f462c4b561a3d4277d759 FYI Adobe Bridge is free. anyone can use it with CC account without subscribing a premium plan. https://community.adobe.com/t5/bridge/is-adobe-bridge-still-free-to-download/m-p/9354916
  13. I wouldn't, just testing. Honestly I barely need vertical writing so I'm not so interested in it myself. But people complaining about vertical writing support in Affinity should try other options rather than just complaining here. Same goes for people complaining about RTL support. Or even MS Word/Apple Pages are much better than Affinity at Asian/Middle Eastern typography. Otherwise, Serif may take eon to implement to it. If they are satisfied with it, then the problem will be solved. Or they will notice how good Affinity is and come back to here, that's rather my intension. lol
  14. Yes, because it's beta. But look at them. vertical writing was requested only 2 months ago and there aren't many Asian testers. Affiniy still has no plan to implement it after 6 years, on the other hand not only vertical writing but implementation of every feature in VectorStyler is crazy fast compare to Affinity. Soon VectorStyler will surpass Affinity in typography feature and has already surpassed in many features such as warping, gradient mesh and so on. I'm satisfied with Affinity and not blaming Serif, but they should look at VectorStyler and think how the development should be.
  15. Turn off Hardware Acceleration in Preferences>Performance. Also I heard that the latest Radeon driver is having problem with Affinity currently.
