  1. I see, I used normal copy command and then used paste special in Designer. As I mentioned there was SVG data inside the clipboard so I thought normal copy would work.
  2. You can just ignore the error. I was able to open it. Only thing missing in the opened document is the thin border of buttons. Otherwise it's mostly the same as in Photoshop. On the other hand, many things are not properly shown in Gimp.
  3. I'm talking about pasting, not about coping.
  4. Adobe XD(free) can open .ai file. So rename the file extension to .ai in order to open eps in XD. Then save the file as SVG.
  5. It's not so simple, would be a huge task to develop. I assume it will happen in v2.0 which would be at least 2 years from now.
  6. Would be nice if you could add an option to reset the number of copies every time I print. Remembering the number is often annoying.
  7. Would you provide the sample file? Or would you test the file in Adobe XD? I noticed XD has improved ai compatibility compared to a old version. I can open an ai file with proper layout that was kinda broken in old version.
  8. It's already mentioned by others before, adapting to Harfbuzz may be the only solution to make Affinity true multilingual. Adobe, Scribus, Inkscape or LibreOffice uses Harfbuzz. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HarfBuzz
  9. Of course I won't use RGB image in Affintiy as well. I use only a grayscale or a 1bit image because a color image won't be needed for this purpose. Like I mentioned "document" color format is the key. not a placed image.
  10. I think you can colorize the image in RGB mode if it's 1 bit or grayscale.
  11. Somehow it's not possible to paste SVG data from XD. I confirmed that there's SVG data inside the clipboard when coping objects in XD. When I paste SVG in Affinity, nothing happens. Though I can paste the bitmap data.
  12. Thank you. Though Illustrator can just apply a color to the image using the fill regardless of which color mode. This would be quicker and intuitive.
  13. Really? it's different on my side. The image layer without K only will be monotone-ish(total white and total black part will remain as is) when apply a color. but it's not exactly the same color as specified. It seems that once the K only is enabled in CMYK mode, it will be inherited even if the document is converted to RGB mode. But the color can not be applied to the image just placed. (you see thin red border around the logo, that's the color I applied)
  14. Yes, I know. I mean I'm asking Serif to make colorizing the image possible in the same way as in CMYK document. Illustrator can do that.
  15. Would be nice if you could enable K Only option for RGB mode as well.
  16. Yes, saving JPG>JPG/PNG>PNG would be ok I think since the user must be aware of that it's a non-native format.
  17. Dissolve creates noise-ish transparency evenly throughout entire layer and the edge of layer/canvas/artboard does not affect to it. So alternative methods mentioned above can not be used in some cases.
