I would like you to apply the new option "Limit initial zoom to a maximum of 100%" to the image after cropping/resizing also.
-
Re-saving the xlsx in LibreOffice could solve the problem like in this topic.
Apparently both contain Japanese text.
-
Usually I create a separate file for the cover.

Hasn't been announced yet.
Will be at least 2 years from now. may be more. -
Also the Studio Driver could be a solution instead of the Gaming Driver.
-
Do you know when you updated the GPU driver?
Sometimes the latest driver could be cause of the problem.
Recent AMD driver had compatibility problem with Affinity and solution was to install a little older driver. -
Try 1.9.4 beta. this will be installed separately from the stable release version.

Sure, Though on a fairly recent machine with 64GB of ram?
It's not the matter of capacity/computing power.
It's a software compatibility problem.
It often happens on Windows, but it can happens on Mac as well. -

What is meant by "Text Panel" for this one? I'm not aware of any panels with that specific name.
Might be Text Styles panel?

Try to turn off Metal Computing in Preferences>Performance
-
Would be nice if I could switch not only studio panels but tools also with studio presets.

Windows will show the information in that File Explorer window that you've asked it to show. The View tab is where you would specify it. Try any of the "... icons" options.
It looks like it's already shown as "Large icons."
I have Photoshop so not sure if Windows itself or Affinity can handle psd thumbnail.
The thumbnail supposed to be shown without Photoshop? -
Could be good but it's not easy task.
Also Affinity still lacks basic features such as non-destructive(vector based) warping so they need to be implemented before A.I. thing...- Patrick Connor, sbe and Alej

The caption seems to be the one from this.

Did the timelapse come back yet?
I can not see it in 1.9.2/1.9.3/1.9.4 on both Mac/Windows.
Or am I missing something? -
This is the documentation about ai compatibility.
https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/user-guide.html/xd/kb/open-illustrator-files-in-xd.ug.html
I created a request for better ai compatibility. please vote if you like it.

THIS ONE IS CRITICAL:
Some of symbols and following symbols should break up.
Did you set no-break rules for them?e.g.
今日は天気ですね。「おはようございます」
it seems that "。" and "「" are always together side by side without breaking up.
Also it seems that it's applied to these symbols that should break up with following symbols.
!"):;>?]}’”〉》」』】〕〟!),.?]}。」、・This still exists in 1.9.4 beta.

Still the same in 1.9.4 beta.

Why the post date is May 7...?

That is all fine and dandy but I would like to know why the program just broke on my randomly when I didn't change anything
Like this virsion was working just fine.
I never had such situation before.
Not sure if it's specific to your environment. -
Try 1.9.4 beta also see if it works.
-
Resetting Affinity to the default setting(ctrl start) might fix the problem.
if it's caused by broken configuration file.Try to remove the actual files also
Check

Something must be wrong with the data they put on the clipboard. If you try and paste that back into Photoshop, or Inkscape, you will still get a bitmap instead of the SVG. Not much we can do in this instance if they can't even handle copy/paste between their own apps...
Pasting to Illustrator or Office works though...

Note tool
in Feedback for the V1 Affinity Suite of Products
Posted
I would like you to implement Note tool like Photoshop to Affinity that can place sticky notes on the document.
It's useful for reviewing document/feedback or explaining content to another designer.
