Ok. I got something this time.
When I disable OpenCL, the loading time is reduced to 2-3 sec.
It was not related when I posted this topic though.
It's a common Intel iGPU(UHD 630). shouldn't be a trouble, should it? -
P.S. waiting after opening Affinity does not affect this problem.
So it's not caused by the initialization process of Affinity. -
This problem still remains in V2.2.
It seems that Photo takes longer than Designer/Publisher on loading the first file for some reason.
Though Designer/Publisher is still somewhat slow on loading the first file.
I can say Photo is abnormal for sure.Loading 1920x1080 jpg
First file:
Photo: 8 sec
Designer/Publisher: 3 secSecond file and later:
Photo: 1 sec or less
Designer/Publisher: 1 sec or less -
Wow I just noticed now.
Finally I can paste an artwork to Figma!! -
Added in V2.1!
This is now called Vector Flood Fill Tool. -
Th problem I mention in this topic cloud occurred by the same cause.

Please have the flip command follow the transform origin.
-
Still the same in 2.2.
-
Please implement these settings.
Default settings are not suitable for Japanese typography.
Put aside full implementation of Japanese typography such as vertical writing, these small things are important too. -
STILL THE SAME in 2.2.1

FYI,
Adobe and MS apps automatically assign a proper font to pasted/typed text regardless of UI languages or predefined fonts.e.g.
Adobe uses Myriad Pro as the default font for English.
But when I paste/type text, KozGoPro(Adobe's default Japanese font) will be assigned to text automatically.
Even with English UI. -

It does seems like there could be a way to ease the setup for Japanese and Chinese users without changing the whole approach to default fonts.
Perhaps when changing the user interface to Japanese the app could check if the user had not set a default font of their own and if not prompt the user with something like "The default font is Arial which does not support Japanese characters. Do you want to change the default font to Hiragino?" On Windows it would likely be Yu Gothic.
And something similar for Chinese.
Yeah, that's a viable option.

Amazing! I didn't realize that Super Vectorizer Pro has all these features. Yes, I got the product when the price was 50% off. I am very satisfied.
Super Vectorizer Pro is on 50% off sale now.
There are two versions. one is new "AI" version, one is classic version.
I did not know that there is AI version myself.
I thought its development has stalled since the classic version hasn't been updated for years.

I think the way font assigned by Affinity should be changed for non English languages.
Substitute fonts no longer work from Ventura.
This problem constantly raised by Japanese users.
They don't expect that they should select Japanese font first.
(Also changing font on blank text object often doesn't work.)
Here's suggestions.- Japanese font should be the default font with Japanese UI. Arial does not contain Japanese characters.
- If pasted/typed text includes non Ascii characters, a multilingual font should be assigned at least.
Here's a related topic. -

You can. Just click the transform origin icon with the Move Tool activated. Moving the origin will update the transformation without losing it.
Ok... I can rotate copy them but it's not a mirrored. -100% scaling doesn't work either.
How do I flip them? -
I would like you to make it work with the Transform Origin.
This is especially useful for mirroring/flipping objects by a numeric data.. -
I suggested someone removing/replacing linked images on other device such as iPad regarding similar case.
They said it's solved by that.

Adding the fill to both have them merged property.
See this topic. -

The bug, I think, occured when adding 2 closed curves that don't have fills.
Are your curves closed or open? Do they have a Fill?
I think Serif views it as correct that open (unclosed) curves without a fill are deleted by the Add operation.
Perhaps @Serif Info Bot could have someone clarify this for us
(Related discussion: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/192732-ad220-add-doesnt-work-for-these-shapes/ )
The open curve does not have the fill.
Then I tried setting the fill, they're merged as expected.
Thank you for pointing out. -

I'm using the same method I described earlier and am on Ventura.
Typeface says it does not work on Ventura.
Does it works on Ventura as well?

Is there an easy way to disable Notos in Ventura or later now?

Move/Duplicate dialog in v2.2 is nice, but I really want the flip action based on the transform origin.
Please add it.
