Hi,
 
Is there a way to snap handles in Affinity Designer? I can snap nodes and objects just fine, but when dragging a curve handle, I can't seem to find a way to snap the handle.

I'm sure this is going to be a simple answer that I have just not been able to find for myself but I'm tearing my hair (what little there is left) out over this. 
 
How do I create custom document types and page presets that I can pick from the new document dialogue in Designer?
 
I have never picked one of the builtin types, they are just not sizes I ever need to use but there are a couple of dozen other sizes I use a lot that I am forever having to look up the settings for as I switch between them. Blog featured image, facebook cover picture, icon, forum avatar, that sort of thing.
 
I'd like to save them in their own document type, with their own page presets, I just can't find where I can add them.

I am a newby to Affinity Designer.  I recently was looking to create a post cardmailer.  I had to search for a Template and import it to Designer.  I think it would be nice to have a few templates when you create a New Document Templates improvements in the next version!!   :D 

Pardon me if this feature is available. ;)

The ability to create new presets within AD and AP would be incredibly useful as well. 

Hi, I recently bought affinity photo and designer and I absolutly love those apps. 
My mother is recently on the verge of completing her first book from a series that will be published.
During my work on her book we noticed that it would be really helpful if there where preset document sizes of the most common print sizes for example 8,5inch x 5,5inch is a common create space book size and also the book size my mother went for.
Also what would be helpful is to implement industry standard margins and bleeds for those templates so all a user would have to do is open a preset and would have a print ready format with bleed and margins all correct in place.
There are much more of common book sizes and there missing as presets, so please add them in the next update.

Same for SVG.  Many effects can be pure vector.  Outer shadow is one effect that could be pure vector, but gets rasterized.  Another is Outline.  I like the how effects can be quickly added and adjusted, but do not like that they are rasterized when exported to SVG.  I can create the same effects manually by creating additional separate shapes in AD and Inkscape.  AD would have a big advantage if it did not rasterize effects that could be exported as vector.
