All those who miss the missing Adobe format compatibilities here should know that Adobe does not publish the structure of the file formats. Third-party manufacturers who want to offer full support would have to pay horrendous sums for licensing. One wishful thinking would be that all manufacturers of DTP programmes would agree on an exchange format. But that will not happen in our lifetime.

Hello @diegoborgh and welcome to the forums. Am I right that you use a NAS? If yes, from which manufacturer? The AFP protocol locks files (and thus access) until a disconnection occurs. This means that if the file is still open in APh. on the Mac , it cannot be accessed from Windows.

I don't trust any cloud except my own. There are so many advantages to keeping your data yourself instead of entrusting it to a third party. Especially if you share sensitive business data with others. Buy a Synology Diskstation, QNAP or RaspberryPi with nextCloud and manage your own cloud. Ok, not everyone is that tech-savvy, but everyone knows someone who is.

@Andy05 You're right! It's a faulty solution and not realy an alternative. But I think we have no other choice with APh, atm. @deejumpz9m The way I described it works, unfortunately only with the upper layer. My thought was not quite finished.

Hi @Alexis F. Du kannst es mit dem Gitterverzerrungswerkzeug versuchen nachzubauen. Dazu legst Du eine neue Ebene mit dem Form Tool an. Z. B. ein Rechteck. Diese Ebene rastern und dann mit dem Gitterverzerrungswerkzeug entsprechend anpassen. Ändere die Überblendung z. B. auf Multiplizieren. Füge eine Ebenenmaske hinzu um unerwünschte Bereiche zu entfernen. Nun kannst Du andere Ebenen auf die Ebene mit der Verzerrung ziehen. Die Verzerrung wird nun für die Unterebnen der Verzerrungsebene genutzt. Ich hoffe ich habe nichts vergessen. You can try to recreate it with the mesh warp tool. To do this, create a new layer with the Form Tool. For example, a rectangle. Rasterise this layer and then adjust it accordingly with the mesh warp tool. Change the blending, e.g. to Multiply. Hello @Ray Burton and welcome. Go to the document setting. Resize Document. Click in the height or width and type e. g. 50%. The aspect ratio symbol should be closed

The crash report still showed the 19H1. With the 20H2 and current graphics card drivers, the Designer version 1.10.1.xxxx should work without problems. Before you start the Designer with the renewed configuration, it is best to delete the old crash reports. If Designer still crashes, please check the status of the hardware acceleration. You can find this under Edit --> Preferences --> Performance. If HWA is activated, please untick.

You are using an outdated version of Windows 10. This should be updated first. Afterwards, the GPU drivers should also be updated.

A Windows system component may be faulty. Check the system components with sfc. Press Windows key + X, select CMD (Administrator) and type sfc /scannow. Complete the process with the Enter key.

And with an active pixel layer?

Hello @joanroig and welcome to the forums. I can open the file, but when I open the layer view, Designer, Photo and Publisher crash. Open Designer and make sure the Layers tab is not selected and no layers are displayed.

You should save the files and then place them as a linked object. Especially if many images are used, the execution speed can be reduced if the images are embedded. Basically, c&p should work. Why don't you copy the images directly from the websites (if the sites allow it) instead of capturing?

Footnotes and endnotes are independent functions in other DTP programmes which, when a marker is set, automatically set up footnotes or endnotes after the last paragraph (footnotes) or at the end of the page (endnote), depending on the marker.
