  2. Hi @Hansen Road Design Studios It is posible, but you will not have bleed around in circular form. Create a new document with the height and width you need. Draw an ellipse of the appropriate size with the ellipse tool and convert it into an artboard (Layer -> Convert object to artboard).
  3. @JeffJeffreyJeff Serif is not to blame here. Microsoft has had a problem with their virtual stacking function for command sequences since the last cumulative .NET updates. My solution disables stacking, which can cause parallel command chains to be delayed or stalled in processing. Should Microsoft provide a fix for this in the near future, it is advised to reset the changes to the configuration files.
  4. Hi @Der-Tieger It is difficult to offer help if the problem is not properly named. It would therefore be nice to know what problems occur with the EPS files and whether the plotter programme can also import other file formats.
  5. I have installed the demo version of the plugin in the Affinity Plugin folder. I have saved the plug-in folder for further testing. The plugin is recognised by Affinity Photo, but as expected, this plugin is not executed properly, but terminated immediately without a message, because a command probably leads to nothing. I then uninstalled D&B and the plugin, but copied the previously saved folder with the plugin back into the APhoto plugin directory. Now you would think that the absence of the standalone programme, which is started by the plug-in, would generate an error message. But no, here too the plug-in is not executed, or not correctly.
  6. I can't answer that question for you. Why don't you try it yourself? Affinity Photo cannot (natively) run plug-ins that integrate their own menu into the programme.
  7. Hi @Giuseppe R Short: No! With Affinity Photo you can only use the stand alone version.
  8. @LeiNi However, I recommend another solution, as the cumulative .NET updates also close security gaps in the .NET components, which are then reopened by the uninstallation. My preferred solution: Open the directory in which the Affinity programmes are installed. As a rule, C:\Programme\Affinity\(Desinger ...Photo ...Publisher) Search and open the .exe.config file (for example Designer.exe.config) with a text editor. Search for "<add key="IsVirtualizingStackPanel_45Compatible" value="true"/>" Replace the value true with the value false. Save the file (administrative rights are required to overwrite!)
  9. @LeiNi the posting from N.P.M. has linked to the known bugs and it's solutions.
  10. Hi @Athiana There are two solution. First, deinstall the latest Net Framework Updates or use my prefered solution: Open the directory in which the Affinity programmes are installed.
  11. Hi @Redondo If not already done, activate via View -> Studio -> Text Frame. Now you can assign a stroke colour and stroke width to the text frames.
  12. Hi @Zack Black I suspect that the path information is stored in the proprietary data area of the psd files. This area cannot easily be read or written by third parties. Not easily means here that Adobe sells the access licence for a lot of money. The small software houses cannot afford this licence.
  13. Maybe I am wrong, but do all margins disappear or only those of the unselected artboards?? If this is the behaviour, then I believe it is "by design".
  14. Hi, @Matthew King and @MaeganJOnes Can you both run the Microsoft .NET Framework repair tool once. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30135 If this does not help, the following solution may help: Open the directory in which the Affinity programmes are installed. Save the file (administrative rights are required to overwrite!) This solution should be reversed as soon as Microsoft provides a fix
  15. @Peppicko That's not Serif's fault. The rotten nut lies with one of Microsoft's dotNET components.
  16. Let all updates installed, for security reasons. Then use the follwing solution: Open the directory in which the Affinity programmes are installed. Save the file (administrative rights are required to overwrite!) You should reset this setting as soon as Microsoft provides a fix for this problem.
  17. Hi @MercurioBebop Try the following solution approach: Open the directory in which the Affinity programmes are installed.
  18. Hi @Jan-van-Schie Click on the triangle next to the magnet symbol and uncheck the Show Snapping candidates box.
  19. That's really really nice, but why is the front wheel slanted on the winter version? Is the front suspension broken? 🤪😂
