I have the following problem: when I add content via drag'n'drop or via the file menu function "Insert content", Affinity Photo needs 3 to 4 seconds to set up the UI when the programme is restarted. Also, all the added content is automatically linked (I don't like that). This also applies to the downloadable content via "My Account". However, the problem does not arise when I import the content via the corresponding categories (assets, brushes, style, etc.). Then the content is stored locally and not globally for all Affinity programmes.

Some functions are not programmed overnight. And for a small company like Serif, it's a cost/benefit question. Anyone who is self-employed or freelance should know how to take these facts into account.

@Abovo The reason why the plugins are greyed out is that the image layer, after developing, was developed embedded or linked as RAW and is still treated as a RAW file by Affinity Photo. The settings in the Develop Persona are temporary until the RAW layer is rasterised. This is the non-destructive concept of the Affinity programmes. The RAW layer must therefore first be rasterised in order to apply plug-ins to it. But this is because the plugins are developed for Photoshop, where non-destructive editing does not exist.

@kspriggs and all other here. If by lifetime you mean that you can use a version until you drop dead, then you have defined lifetime correctly. When a software producer talks about lifetime for his programmes, he does not mean that you also get the subsequent major versions for free, but that the support for a major version ends when a new major version is released.

Hi @Geoman If the math symbols reside as pixel images or vector graphics you should be able to copy & paste. You can then sort them in the Asset Panel

Hi @Donna Warden No, you don't need all platforms with the universal licence. And if you buy a MacOS-powered device, you can simply install and activate all three programmes there. The individual licences for Photo, Designer and Publisher are bound to the platform for which they are purchased. You do not need individual licences if you have a universal licence. Contact affinityorders@serif.com and ask for a refund for the individual licences.

It is possible that the developer of the Vector Styler has carried out excessive reverse engineering.

The Adobe file formats all have a proprietary data area that third-party programmes cannot read. This will also be the case here. Adobe does this to secure their monopoly position.

And the minimum purchase quantity for the volume licences is at least two. However, the favourable price for the multiple licence is put into perspective, as the single (private) universal licence may be installed on as many devices as are used and controlled in the private household.

Hi @Kemmer Torres You can buy a single licence for all three programmes, but then you are limited to one platform. With the universal licence you have a licence for all supported platforms.

Hello @JHarrison Ok, my solution was a " rush job". I have edited the file again. First I dissolved all groups, then I marked all layers and expanded the contour. With the help of the shape builder tool I then removed all overlaps. I have attached the edited file including the history. Logo - Flower reworked with history.afdesign

Resizable bar works with AMD Ryzen from the 5000 generation (without 5600G/5700G) in combination with AMD RADEON RX 6xxx or newer or NVIDIA RTX 30xx or newer. Intel Arc graphics cards will, as far as I know, only support RBar in combination with an Intel CPU.
