  1. Replace the 1000 years with never. But that was too daring for me, because, never say never! 😜 A little harsh? Maybe, but that's certainly due to my slight autism. 🖖🏼
  2. This wish will not be realized in 1000 years. Do you ever ask yourselves how nonsensical some of your wishes are? I have not found a single post in the forums of the two well-known manufacturers of font editors in which the wish was expressed to add functions for vector design tasks. Ask Inkscape if they can add a font development environment to the program. You won't like the answer any more than you like mine here.
  3. In Affinity Photo gehe zu Bearbeiten -> Einstellungen -> Performance und deaktiviere OpenCL (Hardware Beschleunigung)
  4. To change the unit of measurement, all you need to do is right-click on the connecting axis of the lineal. This sometimes takes less than a second and the workflow is only affected micormaly.
  5. @Westerwälder Genau so ist es. Ich sage immer: Wer immer dass macht was er kann, wird nie herausfinden ob er/sie etwas kann, was er/sie noch nie gemacht hat. That's exactly how it is. I always say: If you always do what you can, you'll never find out if you can do something you've never done before.
  6. Hi @Dazman In Affinity Photo navigate to Edit -> Preferences -> Performance and untick OpenCL acceleration.
  7. Hi @Martin Gasser To make a long story short. No, it is not possible natively, nor are there other tools from Serif that allow a live image in Affinity Photo.
  8. Hi @Thomas T In Affinity Photo go to Edit -> Preferences -> Performance and untick OpenCL Acceleration. Restart Photo and export should work as expected.
  9. @Sweedgraffixx Bist Du sicher, dass Du Affinty Suite 2 benutzt? Ansonsten wäre ein Screenshot hilfreich der den ausgeklappten Menübereich zeigt. Etwa so
  10. Hi @MrMarkW There may be problems with Microsoft's .NET components. To rule this out I recommend running the Microsoft .NET Framework Repair tool. Download here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30135
  11. Hallo @Sweedgraffixx Gehe auf Fenster -> Text, dort findest Du den Glyphenbrowser.
  12. It is due to the structure of the font. Some glyphs are composed of several parts and the affected glyphs have "connection problems" at the transitions. Someone with more expertise will be able to describe it better here.
  14. Hi Caspar Ray and welcome to the forum Maybe this youtube course takes you in the right direction:
  15. Hi @Hal H. In Affinity Photo go to Edit -> Preferences -> Performance and untick Hardware acceleration (OpenCL acceleration).
  16. I can confirm PDF/SVG/EPS/WMF export do not consider the brush shape, This happen with V2 too!
  17. Hi @stokerg File sizes vary between 40.03 and 41.17 MB Maybe it's the font substitution? Since I don't have Minion, I used Arial as a substitute font.
  18. @Jhonatan S Now, it works! Mmmmmh, a tiny tree house. Brings me back to the early 1970th as I was young and crispy 😂 Today I am only and 😅
  19. @Jhonatan S Unfortunately, your link to the Amazon cloud storage doesn't point to anything usable. Why don't you paste the file you want to show us directly into the post?
  21. @Blake_S What helped with me was that I first removed the PDF document from the master pages and then reinserted it. After that the data merge was done within 3 seconds. But exported PDF file has a size of over 40 GB.
