  1. Hi @FranzSausA Please deactivate the Hardware accelleration under Edit -> Settings -> Performance. And it has not to do with your internet connection.
  2. @thegary @misohoza I have the same (mis)behavior since version 2. Since I turned off the hardware acceleration, the categories are switched through faster; and that in all programs of the suite. A warm greeting to the programmers, you should optimize the code for the hardware acceleration with the help of AMD, NVIDIA and INTEL, like the game manufacturers do. But hey, there are bigger issues than hardware acceleration.
  3. Do you remember that I once wrote that there are some features for the desktop programs of the Affinity Suite, but not for the iPad version? Maybe that's one of them.
  4. But, this seems to me as a macOS specific problem. The pdf opens correctly in the Affinity apps for Windows.
  5. Hi @Bruce Friesch and welcome! Maybe I'm wrong and did not understand right and lost in translation. But, you can enter the scaling value in the selection box and then save your own presets.
  6. The Blemish Removal Tool would be my first choice. Choose a brush size between 300 and 500 px. Then click with the left mouse button on the area you want to improve. Then drag with the mouse button pressed on an area of the image that should replace the area you want to improve.
  7. Hi @ macfloer. The author of the font may have restricted its use and redistribution.
  8. Hi @Graal Have you tried with deactivated hardware acceleration in both programs? If not, go to Edit -> Settings -> Performance and untick Hardware Acceleration (OpenCL).
  9. Hi @Klooky Disabling the hardware acceleration is the most tried and tested means. Due to the countless combinations of hardware, timing problems can arise, for example. Of course, it is also possible that the integration of OpenCL is, let's say, suboptimal.
  10. Hi @IceHound and welcome! It's possible that you're using layer effects and other optimization settings that Adobe applications store in a proprietary file area that third-party applications can't read. When saving in .ai format, choose PDF compatibility, this should give you the desired result in Affinity Designer.
  11. @NathanC On my PC the programs only freeze without shutdown, this also happens in the current beta version (1742).
  12. You may be able to get more information about the development status from the developers on the libraw.org website.
  13. Hi @Zorlofe and welcome! Serif developers have no control over how quickly camera models are added to LibRAW library.
  14. Hi @Lauraq and welcome! I think you mean the Grade UI Kit. The Grade UI Kit was a free addition to V1. You should find the kit in the downloads section of the Serif Store or unter My Account in the Affinity programs if you have registered one of the Affinity V1 programs with Serif.
  15. @MrSweden Nesting the HSL adjustment layer into the curve layer should work and help. Designer_tRf1RhFSF7.mp4
  16. No problem! Sometimes the obvious is before our eyes, but we don't see it. What I would like to know now is if the problem occurs with all macOS versions or only with the latest one (Ventura?)?
  17. The main question is, can you use the up/down buttons to increase/decrease the values? This is what is under discussion.
  18. @iconoclast It looks like the domain affinity.graphics is for sale. And the content server produces a timeout.
  19. Works for me as expected. Both with version 2.04 and 2.1.0.1736. To scale up or down by one thousandth, the CTRL key must be pressed.
  20. Hi @Hairy Scotsman Yes, you can. If you always use the same resample values, for example 800 x 600, then set the mode to Resample, enter the values and then go to Edit -> Defaults and click Save. If you now call the Crop tool again, the previously entered values are the default.
