  1. I'll be surprised what the support staff have to say about this.
  2. It is not a bug.It is by design. The line in the middle shows the inside edges of the left and right sides. If it bothers you, you should create a file in A3 landscape, for example, if you need A4 all double page. You should also consider defining this as a single page.
  3. It is a very interesting project. But you should then show it to a wider audience. For example on Youtube or similar platforms.
  4. Apart from talent, I also lack patience and fine motorskills (in german: feinmotorik) 😂, so I leave it to people like you, to create great works of art.
  5. Respect! I should have taken a big spoon instead of a fork when talent was distributed.
  6. With the June update, AMD discontinues driver support for Windows 7. For Windows 7, AMD provides the last graphics card driver update for Windows 7 with version 21.5.2. In addition, support for graphics cards of the Radeon RX4xx series is terminated. These are now EOL.
  7. Hello @JUNKI AKIYAMA Please update your Intel graphics driver to the latest version. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ja/
  8. @Cokeman you are on macOS/iOS. OpenCL is on Windows systems. You have to untick Enable Metal compute acceleration.
  9. You can also zoom in/out with + and - on the numeric keypad in conjunction with the ctrl key. If you have a graphics tablet with additional keys, it can also be useful to assign the corresponding shortcuts to these keys. And by holding down the space bar, you can move through the zoomed workspace. If, while holding down the CTRL key, you point the refine brush at an area to be zoomed in and then move the mouse wheel at the same time, you will be faster than if you use the magnifying glass.
  10. Hello @abe30303, welcome to the Forums. Which brush tool did you choose? Paint brush or colour changer?
  11. Das ist erfreulich zu lesen. Ich wünsche dir einen entspannten Restsonntag. Liebe Grüße aus Hamburg
  12. Ok, let's see if there is a crash report. Press Windows key + R. Copy & Paste or type %AppData%\Affinity\photo\1.0\Crashreports\reports. Click OK or press Enter. If there is more than one .dmp file in the folder, please attach the file with the latest timestamp to the next post. The log.txt is also of interest. You can find it in the folder 1.0. What else you can do: Rename the folder 1.0 to e.g. 1.0_bkup. Then restart APhoto. When APhoto should start, go to the preferences --> performance in APhoto and deactivate the hardware acceleration.
  13. Please try the beta version. The beta contains many improvements. You can find the beta in the beta section here in the forum.
  14. Hello @tuhin and welcome to the forums. Please update the Intel graphics card drivers. And to make sure that no bug-causing driver components remain, the drivers should be uninstalled before the update.
  15. Yepp. I also just wanted to have it said/written and shown again. 🙃🤪
  16. Selection tool (brush) works but refining does not work over several layers.
  17. The energy saving settings could be responsible for this. Open the Windows search and enter energy in the search field. The first entry found should be "Select energy saving plan" or similar. There is a text entry "Choose what happens when you press the power button". Click on it. There should be an entry "Activate quick start". If this is marked, please deselect it. With this option, the contents of the main memory are written to the hard disk when the computer is shut down. This speeds up the system start, but often leads to the memory not being freed from old data. If you use an SSD instead of an HDD as a system drive, you will have no real speed advantage with activated quick start.
  18. Hello @marteidu, Open Wacom Tablet Properties. Add a new application profile. When Affinity Photo is started, it should be displayed as Photo in the selection list. Click on the "Pen" tab. Set the double-click distance of the pen tip to OFF. Select the Projection tab. Set Screen Area to full. Tick Force projection. Set the tablet area to " full". In APhoto, go to Preferences --> Tools. Set Input Method for graphics tablet to Windows Ink.
These are the hidden contours. If you assign a contour of 0.1 point to the objects in the same colour as the object, then the edges "merge".
  20. I haven't tried it yet, but maybe it works if you select multiple layers. But with the selection brush you can only work on an active layer. You also can't draw brush strokes across several layers.
  21. @Jayenbee You were not meant at all. 😉 The main thing is that the drivers helped you,
  22. You should update your Intel graphics card driver. Or better uninstall and then reinstall it. Please do not use the driver that Dell provides you. Go to Intel and get the driver there. On the Intel webside press the download button instead of "Get started" https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/30381/Intel-Graphics-Windows-10-DCH-Drivers
