  1. Does the bug also occur when you save to the internal HDD/SSD?
  2. For me, as you can see, the jpg is displayed with a white background. I have no idea why your background is yellow. If it were a bug in the colour profile, all white areas would appear yellow and not just partially.
  3. Be sure you have the latest graphic card drivers installed and windows is up to date. Hold down the CTRL key while you start APhoto,
  4. @Artturi please try with the beta of photo app. Do you try to save the files on a network share or in the cloud? Please tell more about the hardware you use.
  5. Can you please attach a file that has the issue with the yellow backround? So more eyes see more. Please attach as zip or rar, so that no preview image is generated.
  6. Serif is not responsible for graphics card drivers. I recommend, if you have not already done so, to completely uninstall the existing graphics card drivers. The best way is to use the Display Driver Uninstaller. Then install the current drivers (471.11). If this does not help, try the beta version of APhoto. If this does not help either, deactivate hardware acceleration in APhoto under Preferences --> Performance --> Hardware acceleration.
  7. Hello @Alejandro and welcome to the forums. In APhoto and ADesigner go to edit --> preferences --> performance and untick hardware acceleration.
  8. Even Photoshop has problems here. Opening is still relatively quick, but accessing the layers is a game of patience. As I see it, each layer also has effects, everything has to be calculated, and with an average CPU you'll shoot your computer down.
  9. A lag at the start is partly due to the fact that APub checks the linked content for its presence. If you have a lot of linked content, the check takes time. Another factor can be the location of the linked content. A slow (extern usb) hard drive or even outsourced content from cloud storage can slow down the execution of Affinity Suite programmes. And another factor could be the CPU.
  10. @Estoc Hardware acceleration is a new feature introduced with version 1.9 of Affinity Suite. Unfortunately, the developers could not test all hardware constellations. Therefore, it may be that one combination works and others unfortunately not at the moment. Deactivating hardware acceleration does not have a serious impact on the workflow. So deactivating is the only way to work flowlessly.
  11. And because I like to have it in order, I quickly created two symbol files.
  12. I would also classify it as a feature request. And I can understand that accessing external help files disrupts the workflow. As a quick solution, I would suggest that you put shortcuts to the help files on the desktop or the quick launch bar. The help files can be found in the programme directory. For example: C:\Program Files\Affinity\Photo\PhotoHelp\Contents\Resources\en.lproj Create a shortcut for the index.html and drag it to the quick launch bar. This gives you quick access to the help
  13. The assistant setting is a dazzler. No matter which selection variant is chosen; there will always be a pixel layer as sublayer. One begins to wonder whether the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. 😜
  14. Your are welcome. And it seems that I have an older version as on Google today.
  15. I understand, but it is not a bug. You should make it as a feauture request.
  16. I understand what you mean, but I don't think it's a bug. You want to remove the decoration in the area of the overlay text box. However, the page decoration is a paragraph element.
  17. Maybe you forgot to select the styles. Did you install file by file or select all files and then install them? There should be 12 files in the zip file. The normal font with 11 styles and Railway Dots with the regular style. The zip file contains the font files that are also installed on my computer. Raleway.zip
  18. Hello @Franzi von Fragenfeld there are new graphics card driver. Please install, but before deinstall the old driver completly. And if you do not play games, get the studio driver.
  19. Hello @Brianna98 and welcome to the forums. All font styles are displayed for me. From which source did you get the font?
  20. Hello @Formalateand welcome to the forums. Is the publisher ending unexpectedly? Can you tell us more about the hardware used? Which CPU, if any, which dedicated GPU is installed?
  21. My first recommendation is to update the graphics card drivers. My second is to check the Microsoft .Net components: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30135 If you do not play games, you should use the NVIDIA Studio drivers, which are optimised for graphics applications.

  23. @JUNKI AKIYAMA It is not a must, but for all those who miss the SVG preview in Windows, it should be a recommendation. Since none of the established graphics and drawing programs includes a preview handler for SVG files in the Window Explorer, this small open source tool does it perfectly.
  24. Hello @Ron Lukawitski if Affinity programmes crash then there should be one or more crashreports. Please hold down Windows key + R. Coyp & paste or type %appdata%\affinity\photo\1.0\crashreports\reports and click OK or hit enter. If there are more than one .dmp files attach the file with the latest timestamp to your next post. Also the log.txt can be for interrest. This file is in the 1.0 folder. Attach the log.txt too.
