  1. Hi, While Affinity is good for most things, I am constantly going back to PhotoShop CS6 for things like this: Select a section using the mouse and then pressing Command to be able to move it; as shown here: Or press Option and Command to copy it and move the copy as shown here. Any suggestions?
  2. One of the things that has bugged me on the original AF: Occasionally when loading a RAW file, the whole directory is selected and loads. to exit AF I have to individually select and cancel every one. It would be good, when exiting the program, to have the option to cancel all of them
  3. HI, For me, some projects I need to do a lot of 'cut and paste' and to do this in Affinity is that frustrating that I export the image to Photoshop for the 'cut and paste' then bring it back to Affinity.
  4. Hi, Regarding stitching panoramas, one of the best was written by two graduate students at the University of British Columbia: They called it "Autostitch" because it really is Point a block of photographs to it and it will sort them out, combine and create the panorama both horizontal and vertical. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AutoStitch You can download a free demo copy for either/both OSX and MS Windows. They do not sell the program as the University is not a business, but you could license the code to include in Affinity Photo from the university. http://matthewalunbrown.com/autostitch/autostitch.html#licensing Why not take a look at it. You can download the free demo version here: http://matthewalunbrown.com/autostitch/autostitch.html Sparks
  5. Thanks, this is the same command in Photoshop. While I have bought Designer - I have not tried it yet. I will be using it for a project during winter (In Canada). I hope that this option will be added to Photo in a future update. Sparks
  6. I have been using Photoshop to edit photocopies of drawings and engineering diagrams. In some cases I want to cut a section and move it, To do this, I make the selection - press the command key and it cuts out the selection so I can move it using the mouse. This is the same command on Photo and Designer. In other cases I want to copy a selection and move it to another place. To make a selection and move it as a copy (leaving the original where it is) in Photoshop I press both the command and option keys. I cannot find a key combination in either Photo or designer to do this. Is there one? Yes I know that I can in effect do the same thing using layers - but this takes additional steps. Sparks
  7. Hi, I am a 'senior' newbie. I am familiar with PS. I wanted to try doing a project using layers, that I had just completed in Photoshop, just to get the feel of it, but found it rather frustrating. While I do understand that it is early to have tutorials. It would be a real help to have a list of the symbols and what they do. Sparks
