Fotographer reacted to R C-R in Af Designer - Changing Document Size
With Rescale selected if I just enter the new dimensions & click "OK," AD fails to 'notice' that the values have been updated & it doesn't work.
But if I enter the new values & then either click on the DPI field or tab into it, or do something like just opening the "Actual Size Zoom" menu without changing that setting, the values are updated & it does work.
I don't know if this has been reported as a bug, but if not it should be.

When in the pen tool if you hold down the cmd on a mac (probably control on a PC) it will be in the node tool until the key is released. If you want to actually switch out of the pen tool then use as it states above.

Use the Node tool it has a join option on the context menu just above the workspace.

Affinity Designer Just Press ‘A' Affinity Photo Just Press ‘P’
‘P’ is a cycle key so pressing ‘P’ will alternate between Pen and Node, why they are different by default makes no sense to me I just changed the key assignments to match Affinity Designer, you do that in Preferences: keyboard shortcuts.
