    Hi. I was using Affinity Photo 1.6 on a Mac (10.13.1). The Nik Collection was not functioning, so I uninstalled with the Uninstall. Now My Affinity Photo program crashes when the welcome page appears.

    I called Apple, and we tried a few things to no avail.

    We tried trashing and then reinstall AP, but it still crashes.

    Any help appreciated.

      Hi CMM,

      Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

      Launch the app with ⌃(ctrl) held down until a Clear User Data dialog appears. Remove the ticks for Don't restore window and documents and Reset Studio. Leave only Clear User Defaults checked then press Clear. This should fix the crash issue.

      Thank you for your reply. Improbably enough, I solved the problem by reinstalling the Nik Collection into Adobe Photoshop! AP now works fine. Thanks for getting right to this. Chuck
