bikeman got a reaction from esaramago in Selecting locked layers
I think the main problem I and others have is if a doc has hundreds of layers it is practically impossible to find the layer in the panel. I'd like to see when you try to select a locked layer, that it is highlighted in some fashion on the page and gets selected in the layers panel.
As far as locking the layer via a padlock on the actual layer, instead of the padlock only being visible when the layers locked, just change it to a toggle switch.

It would be useful for UI design to have an object connector tool for drawing sitemaps etc
Thanks

bikeman got a reaction from Chris B in Editing text in Affinity Designer
I am using what I think is the latest version as I have just purchased, v 1.5.0.36. Strangely it has started working now.

bikeman got a reaction from HansW in Windows 7 Version of Affinity Products?
"serfif has a range of applications for windows"
True but they're just not good enough to compete with adobe CS hence the fact that only independents and hobbyists use it.
I don't understand serif's business case for this, doesn't make sense to invest in an application targeting professionals and then restricting themselves to a smaller market.

bikeman got a reaction from 000 in your captcha stinks
It is the first time I have signed up to a forum and after several attempts at reading the captcha text I had to gove up and listen to it. Even then the pronunciation was difficult to decipher.
