Affinity Designer painfully slow lately

Rudhelm posted a topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

Haven't used AD in two or three weeks now, but something seems wrong. Just checked and there was an update on May 2nd. On the slightes changes in the Document which worked perfect before, AD takes now up to 300% of CPU Power... Anyone else experiencing the same?
