  1. Hi - we purchased a couple of windows versions. How can I find out, what serial is installed on what machine? Thanks! Peter
  2. Granted, "smooth" is hazy: For example if you have ever used Krita (free), rotating the canvas is done with Shift + Space without any gradual steps, just like zooming, smooth as butter. Rightclick brings up a contextmenu with a customizable menu with a color picker, your favourite brushes and size + hardness The color picker is first in a hover mode as soon as I press Ctrl and picks as soon as I hit the tablet. .... Stuff like this makes using tablets a pleasure .... that sure can all be possible in Affinity Photo as well ...
  3. Hey Dutchshader, thanks for considering! But still I guess that some smooth tablet commands would be quite handy, no? (In case you use tablet ...)
  4. 1. Linking two spherical layers: The 360° Editing feature is great, but it lacks one crucial feature: Linking two or more layers that are in projection mode. Currently I have to merge down destructively each correction from a second layer, because turning my viewing direction is only affecting one layer. 2. Navigation more handy Additionally it would be so helpful to have the navigation options quicker at hand - there is so much space in the toolbars - it's not great to switch into Move Mode, hit the "Edit Live Projection", etc .... all the time. How about some shortcut etc. ?
  5. I am really missing decent tablet shortcuts in Affinity Photo (windows) that are working smoothly: Space = Panning - ok that's fine and common, working fine. Space + Ctrl = Zoom - generally ok, but I have to press the Space first before Ctrl, that is not so great - especially if you switch back to affinity after using other softwares, you tend to forget little hooks like this ... Resize Brush Size - Ctrl + Alt + Rightclick + Pendown + Drag ..... 5 actions ! Really ? Or is there anything better that I missed? I am sure you can come up with something more convenient . Have a look at other softwares (Krita for example) how they handle it. Rotate Canvas - not present at all. Color / Brush Context Menu - not there, is it? Would be superhandy to have stuff right at your tip - again be inspired by Krita, they have some nice RC menu at hand. Color Picker - Alt + Pen - generally ok, but it is only popping up after you actually pick and (at least on my system) with a little delay. It's handy if the color picker already shows as soon as you hit the Alt - so you are sure what you are doing. Generally it would be lovely to have some options to change that to personal habits. Additionally some documentation would be so handy! If there's something I missed, I am happy to learn! Keep up the good work! Peter
  6. Hey, JFisher Space + Strg (on a windows machine) did the trick! Thanks! 2 suggestions: Canvas rotation would be great in a similar fashion General preferences + documentation to adjust viewport navigation would be great. I searched for these topics everywhere ... Cheers, Peter
  7. There are 2 main things that I find extremely missing: 1. Too few options to work efficiently with tablet: * Zoom with tablet (something like "Alt + Drag") [Edit: Space + Ctrl on windows does it Edit 2: But somehow the order of buttons pressed is relevant, which is unconfortable :( ] * Rotate canvas with tablet, with a likewise combination as above * customize tablet / mouse input schemes in the preferences 2. Layer menu too sparse: * Use symbols instead of texts for groups / fill layers .... * Option to colorize layers / layer groups * variable thumbnail size * better display of masks * eye symbol instead of tickbox * different display styles (for example optional display of blending modes ...) * show layer isolation Thanks for your consideration. Best regards, Peter, xoio GmbH
  8. Bump up - I can't believe that there is no response to that ? Does anybody have a suggestion?
  9. Hi, I just can't find anything concerning this subject: Is there a way to configure some nice quick tablet zoom ( + possibly rotate view) option? Something like Alt + MMB + Drag or Alt+ Drag. Switching to zoom Mode (z) seems the only way how I can use the zoom (leaving the right hand on the tablet), but that's not ideal, two key strokes, you have to find the Z-Key and it is not very fluent, when your left hand rests on the Alt/Shift/Space Area. And I can't find any configuration options to set that up. Additionally I am used to rotate view in other painting applications fluently, which is very handy, too. I thank you for any advice, Best regards, Peter xoio GmbH
