Hello @pioneer yes, at least there are no problems at me. Chers -
Did you buy AD? If so, then log in your account then and information will be displayed including product key. See the screenshot. In addition, Serif sends a confirmation of purchase by mail with order number, order date and product key. How it is in the App Store of Appel or in the App Store of Windows I do not know. Check your mail I wish Merry Christmas

Affinity Photo currently has the version number 1.6.5.135 The Changes or development to a RAW file are written by many RAW converteers e.g. Ligtroom, Photoshop, Darktable etc into a SideCar file. (whether DPP writes sidecar files, no idea) The sidecar files do not change the RAW file (lossless processing) Unfortunately, Affinity Photo can neither write nor read sidecar files. Affinity Photo opens RAW files in Develop Persona and after processing handed over to Photo Persona. You can export the RAW files developed in DPP as a TIF or JPG file and continue editing in AP. Cheers

Hello Mylife4Aiur, welcome to this forum. I would recommend you to download the trial version of AP and Ad, to give yourself an impression. Certainly there is still room for improvement in AP and AD and some things work differently as in Photoshop. But if you familiarize yourself with AP achieves equally good results as in PS. Have fun while testing. Cheers

Hello @Eric5, Search in the Internet to "MSI GeForce GT 710 2GD3H LP DDR3" This graphics card is offered here in Germany for 44, - €. Remember that this graphics card is already older. For all Fermi GPUSs (GeForce series) from Nvidia applies, current drivers are no longer supported. But I think, this graphics card can solve your problem with the black screen. It's worth a try. Cheers

Bug: Zoom Crash (v1.7.0.209)
Gnobelix replied to Saijin_Naib's topic in [ARCHIVE] Photo beta on Windows threads
Hello Chris, I have to correct, when zooming out in devolop persona, then crash. but it probably depends on the picture size, at a picture size of 6000 x 4000 pix I have no crash, at a picture size of 4800 x 3200 pix or smaller crash from Affinity. Cheers -

The bracket keys don't works on a German keyboard, because there is no direct access to these buttons, maybe it's the same with you. I use other shortcuts, is quickly done in the tool settings. Cheers- 10 replies

Hello myclay, I think I know why Affinity displays only 8 bits. Some programs calculate the color depth by adding per color channels, especially Windows. Each channel has 8 bits, in sum 24 bits, and if there is still an alpha channel, an additional 8 bits are added = 32 Bit. Affinity can not represent alpha channels, that can only Photoshop. I hope the answer is correct. Cheers PS. (JPG files are displayed in Windows with 24-bit color depth)
