Hello @GrahamMYC,
the option you miss (repeat sphere)  is only active if the sphere filter has been applied previously,
the same applies to all other filters. (repeat.........)
I think you did not apply the filter.

Hello all,
about the new feature Sub-Brushes in the Brushes-Panel,
there are non Information in the Help-File for this new Feature. (maybe I missed something)
When I want to edit the properties of the Sub-Brush, is the Function Spacing greyed out,
is this so wanted, if yes, why?

[keyboard not always working]

Try the following.
1. Press Win + R and key in the command cmd
2. Key in the command sfc / scannow and then Enter.
   This command will, detect and repair damaged files or errors on your computer.

Restart the computer and check if copy / cut / paste works.
If not, then you can uninstall the keyboard driver and reinstall.

1. Start the system control
2. Click on "Device Manager" and then "Keyboards"
3. A right click on the keyboards and  uninstall the keyboard driver.
4. Restart the computer, the system redetect the keyboard and will reinstall the keyboard driver.

I think Guzzi disturbs it, that the units constantly change from centimeters to px.

Hallo Guzzi,
fast alle Fotos werden in px dimensioniert.
so ist es nicht verwunderlich, das Affinity-Photo die Fotogröße in px angibt.
Bevor du das Crop Tool auf Absolute Größe änderst, stelle das Lineal auf cm um,
dieses erreichst du mit einem links Klick, in der linken oberen Ecke des Lineals. (siehe Sreenshot )
Dann werden die gewünschten Einheiten angezeigt und wechseln nicht zu px.

1. Eingabe bei "Einheiten' Zentimeter. Das war noch in Ordnung.

2. Eingabe 13,33 für die Breite. Darauf werden die Einheiten wieder auf Pixel umgestellt.

try the following:
@firstdefence has already said, uninstall the driver, deconnect the graphics tablet from the computer.
Install the driver with administrator rights, connect the graphics tablet to the computer, and wait until the device is recognized.
Start the driver with administrator rights and check the advanced settings.

Good question, the installation of AP under Windows XP abort with the following message "affinity-photo.exe is not a valid Win32 application"

Oh Oh, that's very very bad.
Possible causes, Incorrect or failed installations or uninstallations from a software,
invalid entries in the windows registry, consequences of a virus or malware attack,
improper shutdown of the system, etc.
Here is a link that maybe help. In the worst case, a reinstallation of Windows.
Good luck with the repair.

Versuche folgendes,
öffne ein Bild dessen Größe du ändern möchtest.
Aktiviere das Crop Tool, Modus absolute Größe
Gebe deine gewünschte Größe ein, nicht mit Enter abschließen.
In der Befehlsleiste auf das Zahnrad klicken, es öffnet sich ein Menü, wo die Vorgaben gespeichert werden können.
Ich hoffe das hilft.

welcome to this forum.
in the current beta, can the clarity filter negative values set.
I don't know if you mean this effect (Orton Effect called)
Follow the steps below. (Beta 1.7.0.209)

1. Open the image
2. Duplicate the photo twice (CTRL   J)
3. Activate the top level and set the blend mode on screen
4. Merge the top and bottom layers into one layer. (CTRL   E)
5. Duplicate the merged layer. (CTRL   J)
6. Apply filter, Gaussian Blur (setting (depending on the Photo size) and set the blend mode in  Multiply.
7. Highlight the top and bottom levels and to a level merge or group. (CTRL   E or CTRL   G for group)
