I understand That Affinity can export files to eps svg and PDF, and they can all be opened in Illustrator.
It is just that most of my clients are not particularly computer savvy. Their manufacturer (the end users of my files) often ask my clients to supply an Adobe Illustrator file so my clients will insist that I supply my artwork as an Adobe Illustrator file - they don't understand that there are other suitable graphic files and quite frankly I get fed up trying to explain this to them!
I've been using Serif products since the early nineties and have much prefered them to Adobe or any other products and I don't particularly want to go to the expense of buying Illustrator only to use it as a file converter.
i shall certainly look at online converters.
Many thank for all your help,
Dauvit
