Hi, I'm Alex Hallen and own a small business, AHmedia. I am mainly a Computer technician for Mac and Windows platforms, but also provide graphics design and pro audio services. I've always wanted to combine my creative hobbies into my professional career, hence the business name. I just recently stumbled across the Affinity products while I was searching for a Photoshop alternative and immediately purchased Photo after studying some reviews. I think Affinity has the potential to overtake the Adobe products in time! Looking forward to discussing Affinity products here!

So far this can almost replace PS for me, but there's a few "deal breakers" that I'd like to see implemented before I can make a full switch. File format request: - .DDS import/export (DDS is a format commonly used for games textures. Some formats contain alpha channels and also different compression formats. I can provide more detailed info on this if needed) Convenience requests: - Better functionality for accessing and saving Gradient presets/management (especially from the fx section) - Custom Shape preset management (maybe a new tab in the Studio section?) <-- would be nice to import .csh shapes, but I have a workaround for that That's all :)
