[Basic 'get you started' tutorial]

Hi. I've just bought a copy of Affinity Designer software and am looking for a basic 'get you started' type tutorial. I've looked on the tutorials section and the Vimeo channel but just seems to be videos on very clever/specialised aspects of the software and more advanced stuff which is quite intimidating and not much use to me at the moment.

 

I am not a professional designer and am fairly new to using this type of software.  I just need Designer to help me produce some simple and presentable 1 page PDF's that can be download from my website. 

 

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
