  1. I'm confused by this. There are 2 different kinds of .ai brushes?? (I am currently trying to import one that I got for free using various methods.) So what extensions are Affinity brushes supposed to be?
  2. I wanted to make absolutely sure before purchasing brush sets off of Creative Market... Affinity Designer can import .ai files correct? Are there any special considerations I need to consider? For example, this following brush set: https://creativemarket.com/Guerillacraft/100638-Scatter-texture-brushes-for-AI Would I encounter any problems in AD? I see on the https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/designer/full-feature-list/ that AI is included in importable file extensions but it says "Adobe® Illustrator® AI (containing PDF stream)" Not sure what the last bit means (PDF stream..?) I just wanna buy some cool brush sets on Creative Market! lol :P
  3. Yes, as a person who designs repeat patterns, I would love this. DrawPlus had a super simple tiling tool that I used ALL the time. I don't see that tool in either personas (though the icon looks kind of like the PIXEL tool) I create a repeatable tile and click this tiling icon and just drag the top and bottom (or just the corner) out and it automatically repeats the tile. I would love to see that feature in Affinity. Not sure if that would be under the vector or pixel persona.
  4. Thanks Alfred! I just tried my own suggestion and it didn't work. lol (I'm copying and pasting the symbol for now.)
  5. I dunno if this will work but on DrawPlus I had to type in © and it automatically converted to the actual copyright symbol. Took me forever to figure that out. I'm on Windows10 btw.
