  1. The issue is still present, even in the latest beta. A temp fix is setting the pen input mode to mouse instead of pen.
  2. On my system using the "picker" tool in a curves adjustment layer leads to an error message and renders the software unstable or even causing it to freeze completely.
  3. Here a few more infos concerning the tablet issues, maybe they can help isolating the cause: In my above mentioned post I listed 3 main issues. 2 of them, the pointer issue (1) and the random diagonal lines (2) can be fixed by changing the input mode in the Wacom driver settings from pen to mouse mode. If in doubt what setting I'm talking about please take a look at the attached screenshot. Maybe this helps... Oh, by the way, the latest beta has not improved concerning the described tablet issues, at least not for me. If anything it has become slightly worse.
  4. It's nice that Affinity Photo has got such good support of the 32 floating point mode but it is somehow unfinished. There are particularly two things that I desperately miss: 1. The ability to show the 32 bit float color values in the info panel. How should we work accurately with 32 bit float values if they are displayed nowhere? All that I can see are the conventional RGB values from 0 - 255 but these are meaningless in 32 bit float. 32 bit float per definition contains color values below 0 (actually a bad thing) or above 1 (actually a good thing). 2. Please make the curves dialogue zoomable so we can also edit values that exceed the white point of 1. The values beyond the white point are in fact one of the main advantages of 32 bit float.
  5. The tablet input really needs a major overhaul. Currently (beta and stable version) it's definitely no fun to work with Affinity Photo and a Wacom tablet. Here are my major concerns: 1. Why does the pointer turn into an arrow when I want to draw on the tablet using the pen? I always have to grab the mouse and move the pointer into the image and switch back to the pen in order to get the preview circle back. 2. When I'm drawing something on the tablet (for example a mask) Affinity frequently translates the input into random diagonal lines, sometimes these lines are only a few mm long but sometimes they spread over half the photo. Definitely no fun if you are masking a huge part of the image and you have to undo the last step because of such a randomly drawn line. 3. Input lags are also common, especially in the latest beta. I don't think we can blame the Wacom drivers here because no matter what program I use the tablet input always works flawlessly (I tried Gimp, Paintshop Pro X9, Microsoft Paint). The only program that causes troubles with my tablet is Affinity Photo. If it was indeed a driver problem the described issues would also be present in other programs. My system: Windows 10 Pro, Wacom Intuos Pro Small with latest drivers, fairly powerful PC with an AMD FX-8350 CPU, 32 GB of Ram and a Geforce GTX770 GPU. Please fix the tablet input issue. Currently it's definitely no fun to use your software with a tablet. And tablet input is really important when it comes to exact retouching and other image editing that needs to be precise. P.S. Let my know if you need more info, for example a screenshot or even a short video documenting the issues.
  6. Ok, that sounds logical. Let's see if I can stop my brain from linking your company name with the one from Deus Ex :D
  7. The problem with Linux is it's market share. It's not even 2 % of the desktop market so even if 100 % off all Linux users that are interested in Image editing or vector graphics purchased Affinity that would still be a negligible number. What's more Linux users tend to stick to open source and free programs instead of purchasing proprietary software .Nonetheless, being a frequent Linux user I'd definitely welcome a Linux version.
  8. Sorry but I cannot stop thinking about the Game Deus Ex whenever I read your company's name. Was the name by any chance inspired by the biotech company (Serif Industries) that plays a important part in that game's story? Or is it just a weird coincidence?
  9. And please add an option to pick grey tones of layer masks. Currently it only picks the colour value of the underlying layers.
  10. So far I've not found a way to determine the exact grey value of a particular pixel of a layer mask in Affinity Photo. The info panel only shows colour values of the underlying layers. This is a very useful feature, for example if you work with gradients to combine two photos and you want to refine a certain area of the mask and apply the same grey value as in other areas of the mask. If such a feature really does not exist in Affinity Photo I'd like to request it to be implemented. If it does exist and I've simply not found it yet I'd be grateful if somebody could instruct me how to do it.
  11. I can second that, this is a very useful feature and should be implemented as soon as possible.
