  1. I'm shift-dragging from the upper left corner to catch position 0,0 and it seems the selection starts and ends anywhere there in space outside the loaded pic. The selction doesn't snap to the edges of the loaded pic like PS. It seems impossible to select a perfect square on a 4:3 image... Or am I missing something..?
  2. Would appreciate some input from the devs here, if I should put this as a feature request. If so, separate scaling for vertical and horizontal (as an advanced option) would be super awesome.
  3. I found that Foxit Reader allows floating point values in print scaling, so by exporting to pdf I can hopefully work around this. I'll try that this weekend. I still see no reason to not allow decimals within Affinity itself.
  4. I have artwork that needs to be correct dimensions when printed. This seems impossible.. tried professional printers and also bought an OKI A3 printer to do the job. My artwork, which is 500 mm, prints as 501 mm. Now, if only I could set print scaling to 99.8% that would solve my problem. But it seems scaling is restricted to integer values? Why is that? Any way around it?
  5. Yeah I was guessing this was the workaround, but it would be nice if it snapped to both segment center and circle center.
  6. I made a segment using the segment tool. I created a "crosshair" with both vertical and horizontal guides at 100 mm. Snapping to guides is enabled. Snapping to the vertical guide works, both the middle/center and the left and right sides of the segment snap just fine. Snapping to the horizontal guide does not work as expected: It snaps to top, bottom and middle of the _segment_, but not to the middle and bottom of the "full" circle. Snapping to the center of the circle seems pretty fundamental.. Am I missing something, is this intended? If so I guess this is a feature request.
  7. Aaaaaaaah! So it was my fiddling about after all. Maybe one of you more experienced users can say if this should be transformed into a feature request, some kind of warning/indication that there is transparency going on?
  8. Good to know I'm not crazy :) Will this be reported/escalated to bug status now..?
  9. If I move one of the visible vertical lines to the "blocked" area, they also disappear. It is just like there is a block or "crop area" active..
  10. Thanks! Sure: https://www.dropbox.com/s/g638pnd0v641skr/tm-2%20paper%20bug.afdesign?dl=0
  11. I'm new to Designer so maybe this is a rookie mistake. But I created a "grid" by drawing a bunch of lines. It fills the blue area in the attached pic. All of a sudden only the left half of the grid is drawn (also in exported pdfs.) The grid is the top layer, so no object blocking it. AFAIK there is no "deliberate" action/function that can hide the right half of the horizontal lines like that..?
