Thanks, RC-R! After scanning the forum, I was hoping maybe you would respond. And, you're right -- I couldn't understand why I was having to use a 250 pt. font. I'm on to making the corrections. Remember the Alamo!

Having a problem with the same font in the same size displaying consistently in Frame Text boxes. I'm attempting to superimpose people's names on their 5x7 photos; using 250 pt. font. Some names are 250 pt. (I assume) and others are smaller by varying degrees even tho the Character spec box says they are 250 pt. Why is this? Does the photo cropped to 5x7 format, but which may have a different file dimension, influence the size of the font? In other words, are fonts relative in size to the background layer or are font sizes absolute? I'm using a 5x7 art board. Is there some other setting I'm missing? Attached is a sample of what I'm trying to solve. Appreciate some help! rexv
