Hi,

please find attached the system info from the NVIDIA panel.
What happened?
I moved a large number of pixel graphics in my file to a different place. The canvas is about 6000x3000.
Affinity (latest edition) frooze every time I did that. Once openGL was off all worked normal.

MY AFFINITY PHOTO KEEPS FREEZING UP I GET A NOT RESPONDING NOTIFICATION. IT'S JUST IN PHOTO THE DESIGNER HAS NEVER DONE THIS.

Do you have OpenCl acceleration on? (Edit->Preferences-> Peformance). I get regular freezes with it on.

I agree, this is quite useful to have for compositing, VFX, and concept art.

Cheating from what? 
There is such a thing as photo composites and composite artists who deal with posters, concept art, etc who do sky replacement regularly. This is where good photography is only step#1 

I also think it will get better and importantly it will go faster. Now the refine does not always work perfectly.

Agree with sky replacement and complete rebuild of selection functionality AP software.  Seldom does it select, without the need of Mask to correct.

Thanks, I ended up adjusting the images, but I will experiment with the brightness adjustment for future documents. Thanks.

Horray the PC is back earlier than anticipated.
I did manage to do it now with Lagarto's macro in two batches.
1st one to resize the images, second one with the macro from him.

To do this yourself, just read the thread above.

For that you will need a slightly more complicated formula
I believe the OP has stated that he has some images that will need upscaling (resizing upwards)

Hi,
any progress on this? I am rendering out equirectangular images in Blender & work on them in Affinity Photo.
Once I export them as jpg. Facebook fails to recognize that they are 360.

Any chance to add the option to edit the relevant Metadata within Affinity Photo?

Hi,
I have a ton of furniture symbols in png format which I can browse wonderfully in Irfan view.
At the moment I need to drag each symbol into affinity photo to open it and than copy it with select all and paste it into my floorplan.
It would be saving a huge amount of work if I could just drag the symbols directly into the open affinity photo floorplan.

Can this be done somehow?

One more last thing is it possible, or will it in the near future be possible to save ones own prefered default settings for tools?
Example. Click on the pen tool and have it automatically set to the last settings or ones own preferred settings, like width 28px, line mode, arrow end,...
