Hi, I have a document which was created from the start in Affinity Publisher. Great software and a nice looking document. But, my printer has a problem with it, despite me having copied the PSO Coated v3 color profile (which I got from my printer, a pretty big company, so its unlikely that something is wrong with that) into the relevant Affinity folder. The CMYK PSO Coated v3 color profile is visible in preferences as well as in the document setup (I used convert) and in the export tab for the Pdf. As requested by the printer I use PDF/X-4 export option & as preset and then adjust it under more: Specifically I add & choose expressivly: Colour Space: CMYK ICC Profile: PSO Coated v3 Include printer marks I untick: Honour spot colours (I found on another thread here the suggestion to untick that and it would remidy the issue. Unfortunately it doesn't.) Nothing else gets changed and I export the PDF. The Pdf looks visually good and when I open it in publisher, it says CMYK. Still the printer comes back with a check and says there is no color profile embedded. Any suggestions how to fix that? The second issue I have, is that I have not AcrobatPro so I can not check where the issue is precisely. I can not attach the file here for privacy reasons, but I can mail it to selected individuals if they can help. I really appreciate your help, especially as I am on a deadline. Thanks!

Hi MEB, any update on this? Will it work with the Wndows 10 version of Affinity Photo? I need to take distortion out of images shot with a GoPro5 and GoPro6. Thanks, Fran

Hi, I was looking into creating invisible watermarks using a method described here very well for Photoshop: http://jimchristensenphotography.com/jcp.php?m=502 Unfortunately I do not seem to be able to switch individual R, G, B channels off for watermark layer. Is there a workaround? How could this be done? Would be great if the Affinity/Serif staff could chime in too. Thanks, Franzi

Hi, I noticed that I can not later (after reopening the file) edit scale or orientation of a fill layer which uses a bitmap as texture. I did not rasterize that layer and the related bitmap is still at the same location. Is this something which will eventually be sorted out? I'm on the 1.6.5.123 release under Windows10pro. Hi, did anyone use the Photoshop plugin 3D-Map-Generator successfully with Affinity Photo? http://www.3d-map-generator.com/3d-map-generator-terrain-features/ I have been asked to create some maps and this would fit perfect, but I do not really want to buy or use Photoshop. If anyone knows of an alernative with similar features which does not need Photoshop I'd appreciate if you can share details. Thanks, Franzi

Hi Mark & Chris, awesome news, can't wait to give it a try! Thanks & keep up the good work. One more regarding tool status saving. This would perhaps also be helpful for things like "outer shadow" on layers. The reason is that one generally would keep shadow strength, variation and direction throughout a drawing, or even across several drawings of the same kind. Similar to the "Grid on/off" in the perspective tool. I hardly ever use the grid and switching it off every time is a real pain if you use it often. Best regards, Franzi

Hi, beeing the thread opener, I see a simple solution based on the above, which could solve this. Unfortunetly I am not enough computer buff to implement it myself. Surely the guys from Affinity could do this somehow. Btw. I love both programs and some of the functions are tremendously helpful in my day to day work!! I could envision the follow as a macro or a function which gets switched on or off with a single click for the next few drag and drop processes: 1)Switch option on 2)Affinity opens the new file dropped onto it anywhere in the current window. This happens in the background, hidden from the user. 3)Affinity copies that files complete content automatically. All in the background, hidden from the user. 4)Affinity drops the files content at the location the user clicked in. All in the background, hidden from the user. 5)Affinity closes the file it copied the content from again automatically. All in the background, hidden from the user. 6)User can repeat 2)-5) as often as he needs to. 7)User switches the option off when he doesn't need it anymore. Anyone here who could implement this with a macro? Could Affinity create that feature? Thanks, Franzi

Hi, I have a ton of furniture symbols in png format which I can browse wonderfully in Irfan view. At the moment I need to drag each symbol into affinity photo to open it and than copy it with select all and paste it into my floorplan. It would be saving a huge amount of work if I could just drag the symbols directly into the open affinity photo floorplan. Can this be done somehow? One more last thing is it possible, or will it in the near future be possible to save ones own prefered default settings for tools? Example. Click on the pen tool and have it automatically set to the last settings or ones own preferred settings, like width 28px, line mode, arrow end,... Thanks for your input. I am using Photo&Designer on a windows desktop.

Hey developers. I work alot with photospheres and the option to add a life projection layer is really really useful. Still, I have a few suggestions which could make it even better. 1)Seam adjustment, take 1 Sometimes the "sideborders" of an unrolled sphere end up in a doorway or window. Just where one would typically add a hotspot in 360 tour creation software. Basically what would be great to be able to rotate the image in life projection mode and when the life projection is removed the outside borders are repositioned, avoiding the doorways. 2)Seam adustment, take 2 Most cameras which shoot with two 180degree lenses create small misalignments when autostitching them. Usually the overall result is great. Still, to have the option to mark the stiching line and then grab it from left and right to distort the adjacent picture areas along the stitching line until everything matches would be great. I know this can be done already by grid distortion, but an extra tool would make it simpler. 3)More editing options. Not sure if this could be done, but it would be absolutely awesome if the would be the option to somehow replace the whole floor or ceiling in a photosphere with another texture. The tricky part is that one can not edit very lare areas of the photosphere right now without funny results due to the distortion towards the floor. If this would be possible it would create awesome possibilities for interior designers who could easily offer modified 3D images with different floors or walls this way. 4)Button for life projection Could you perhaps add a button for the life projection? That would make life much easier, because you do not have to go through all the menus. Thanks so much for an already great piece of software.

Hey, I'm on the latest windows trial. Just noticed that while I can select with my left mouse button, this selection does not add further elements when I rightclick on them. I can only select further when keeping the left button pressed and clicking and moving on the right button in parallel. Pretty awkward for selecting quickly. In principal I like the idea of a right click to add further areas to the selection. My mouse is a Renkforce ST-OPM890 ergonomic mouse. I'm on Win 10 64Bit. Please fix this. Hi, awesome product, and almost best, it gets rid of Ad.. subscription chains. Horray!! Can't wait to get the InDesign replacement. I have a feature request for Affinity Photo though. Your 360degree panorama editing feature is fabulous. Could you add the option to easily create clickable hotspots on the panoramas which then link to the next image or feature? There seems to be a plugin for Gimp but I hate their interface and like AP much more. Thanks so much!
