  1. Hi @GudrunC, Welcome to the Affinity forum. If your Affinity app purchase was made through the Microsoft Store it is tied to you Microsoft Store account/ID, and will also not require a Product Key. If you need to install it again, run the Microsoft Store, ensuring that you are signed in with the same account/credentials that you used to complete the purchase, and the button which usually says "Buy" should instead say "Install", click on it to begin the installation of the program.

  3. Hi @Joel Katsuda, Welcome to the Affinity forum. Our trial can be activated with the Product Key received when purchasing. Until it is activated with a key it will continue to display as the Trial version. Alternatively you can uninstall the trial and download the paid order in your Affinity Store account, and enter the Product Key during installation.

Any pending charges on your account will not be permanent and will drop off within the next few days. Please ensure you are using the latest version of your web browser when placing the order, as any out-of-date browsers usually throw back an error such as this.

  6. Hi @Louise Lemieux Berube, If you purchased through the Mac App Store, open the Mac App Store App and go to the Updates page. If the updates are not showing, go to Store > Reload page. This should hopefully force the updates to show. To update one of our iPad apps, open the App Store app and go to the Updates page. If the updates are not showing, tap near the top of the screen where it states 'Updates' and then hold and pull down, then release. This should manually refresh the updates page. For purchases made directly through our own Store, your Affinity App will check for updates when opened and it should offer you the latest update.
  7. Hi @Alexandra Carmblad, Welcome to the Affinity forum. Only purchases made through the Affinity Store, will appear in your Affinity Store account. To download a previous order, open the Mac App Store and select 'Purchased'. You will be shown a list, which will include your Affinity app (You will need to be logged into the Mac App Store using the same account that was used to purchase the app). You would need a separate Windows version to install on Windows or a Mac version to install on the Mac. Each version is purchased independently and each has its own licenses.
  8. Hi @smallp, Which ever option you decided to go with, the licence would be be assigned to the email address used at the time of purchase. If you want to be able to continue to reassign the licence to different individuals as they come and go, then I would advise going with option "a" and use an email address that you own yourself top complete the purchase. You can then provide them with the email address and product key to install on their device for the time they are with you.
  9. Hi awan, The licence that you own allows you to install the app on as many devices as you need for your own use. As such, you would need to purchase an additional licence if you require your employee to be able also use the app.

I cannot locate any purchases in our database associated with your email address, so I am going to presume that you bought the apps through the Microsoft Store. If your Affinity app purchase was made through the Microsoft Store it is tied to you Microsoft Store account/ID, and will also not require a Product Key. If you bought direct from the Affinity Store, did you perhaps use another email address? (there is a gmail address similar to yours that has an account)

Apple ofrece una ventana de reembolso de 14 días si el usuario no está satisfecho con su compra (excepto para regalos) en países europeos. Las cosas no están tan claras en EE. UU. Y Canadá, pero aún pueden reembolsarle en ciertas circunstancias (estos casos se manejan caso por caso a través de los canales de soporte oficiales de Apple).   19. Hi @TGrelka, Welcome to the Affinity forum. We are not able to remove these from your account, sorry. The only solution for anyone that may stumble across this post in the future would be to contact us (affinity@serif.com) and we can remove the account from our database before a purchase is made. A new account will then be created during the purchase process without the previous info.
  20. Hi @waaf, Welcome to the Affinity forum. The platform we use for online orders is primarily for private users, as you can see when going through the process of buying because there is no facility to add EU VAT numbers meaning this is included in the shopping cart. While this is not made clear on the website, any company that is VAT registered should get in touch through the Business area of the site before finalising the order. In this instance I would encourage you to contact affinityorders@serif.com for assistance.

  22. Hi Mari97, Welcome to the Affinity Forum. We can only presume that there was a small window between our sale ending on the App Store and us extending it. Our advice would be to ask Apple for a refund and then purchase again at the lower price.
  23. Hi @Mark Oehlschlager, I'm not 100% certain as I've never done it myself and I only have an iPhone and iPad to hand, but they both offer a Gift App option for paid apps, so I suspect the Mac App Store will too. I suspect that the only downside would be that they will receive it instantly.
