  1. Hi @Ralf_Maeder,

    1. A licence can only be disabled via the device that the app is installed upon.

    2. It is not possible to change the licence number issued at the time of purchase.

    3. Upgrading to a business licence is possible via our Business Team (corpsales@serif.com).

One option would be to change the Affinity ID password. This would not revoke access, but would mean that should the user ever attempt to install any of the apps again or be promoted to sign-in again in the future, they would only be able to do so with knowledge of the password.

  2. Hi @AJzayas, welcome to the Affinity forum

We too are unable to locate an Affinity Photo purchase registered to yourself when searching our records with your name or email address.

Can you please contact affinity@serif.com so we can ask you for some more details about your order and hopefully locate it.

If your Affinity app purchase was made through the Microsoft Store it will tied to you Microsoft Store account/ID and not an Affinity Store account. The link below will help to locate a previous MS Store download.

  3. Hi @Erikur, welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately we do not have an upgrade path from V1 to V2 single app licences.

We do not have any discount codes or promotions available on our website currently, but we  do have discounts from time to time and to be sure that you do not miss out, please keep an eye on our social media channels. As soon as any discounts go live, you can be certain that we will announce them there first.

If you have an Affinity Store account, you can also update your email preferences from within your account so that we can let you know of any discounts via email.

  4. Hi @NeoBeum,

The Affinity Store and the Affinity Forum are two separate entities and the Store has only ever used an email address/password combination to sign in to Store account accounts.

I have not however been able to locate an Affinity Store account for you when using the email address on the forum to search our records.

If you are having issues accessing an Affinity Store account, please contact us privately via email (affinity@serif.com) and we can look in to this further for you.

  5. Hi @ehrichweiss,

What you believe you are seeing in your image or what you believe has happened is not actually what has happened.

Your image shows that you have installed Affinity Publisher 1 and registered it to your Affinity Store account.

Your image does not show any reference to V2 or any reference to a V2 licence being used. The details on your Affinity Store account reflect the same.

On the positive side, everything appears to be working for you as it should be.

  6. Hi @Zidane, welcome to the Affinity forum.

What is the duration of the Affinity V2 Universal license and for how many simultaneous devices?

The Affinity V2 Universal license is bought to own and you can install on as many devices as you need for you own use.

Does the license cover Affinity Designer 2, Affinity Photo 2 and Affinity Publisher 2 for this period?

    Yes

Can I install it on windows 11?

    Yes

  7. Hi @Zetax, welcome to the Affinity forum

It sounds like you have download Affinity Designer 2 rather than the version that was available to purchase in 2019/2020.

If you need to install version 1 again, run the Mac App Store and head to the "My Apps" area in your account. Scroll to the date you purchased the app and you will find a link to download there.

  8. Hi @Crowstupify, welcome to the Affinity forum.

As your Affinity app purchase was made through the Mac App Store it is tied to your Apple ID, and will also not require a Product Key. If you need to install it again, run the Mac App Store and head to the "My Apps" area in your account. Scroll to the date you purchased the app and you will find a link to download there.

  9. Hi @Žarko Germek, welcome to the Affinity forum.

Unfortunately we do not have an online upgrade path from V1 to V2 single app licences.

We do offer discounts on our site from time to time which we announce on our social media channels. As soon as any discounts go live, you can be certain that we will announce them there first.

If you have an Affinity Store account, you can also update your email preferences from within your account so that we can let you know of any discounts via email.

  10. Hi @Brian89450, welcome to the Affinity forum.

Neither of the programs you mentioned required a product key during installation. Product keys were introduced with version 12 (X2).

The issue you are more likely to run into is that neither of the those programs were designed to be compatible with Windows 7, and you would need to be using a computer running Windows XP or earlier to be able to continue using those products.

  11. Hi @bonaccij, welcome to the Affinity Forum.

If you register any of your MS Store or App Store bought Affinity apps you would then have both an Affinity Store account and be eligible for the Universal Licence upgrade.

Please see this link below for help registering the Affinity apps.

    https://affinity.help/photo/English.lproj/pages/GetStarted/registerAndSync.html

The option to register was only available in later V1 builds so if you are not seeing the option to register, please see this link below for help installing the latest update after which you can then re-attempt the link above.

  12. Hi @specworkfan,

I can see that you already have an open ticket with my colleague Steve, however I just wanted to clear up what appears to me a slight misunderstanding. In your message you wrote the following...

    7 hours ago, specworkfan said:

and I see there's a 40% discount offered to existing users.

We have not actually offered a 40% discount (solely) to existing users. When the V2 apps were launch on November the 9th, we offered a 40% launch offer to early adopters (new and existing users could take advantage). That offer ran until January 25th and is no longer available unfortunately, it was a limited time offer and this is what my colleague referenced when he advised as such and apologised that you had missed the offer. Whilst the response was indeed short, it was polite and there wasn't much more that could have been added.

I've no doubt there will be discounts again in the future as we do from time to time, and to ensure that you do not miss out you could keep an eye on our social media channels. As soon as any discounts go live, you can be certain that we will announce them there first.

If you have an Affinity Store account, you can also update your email preferences from within your account so that we can let you know of any discounts via email.

  13. Hi @Eugenie Mondjian, welcome to the Affinity Store.

If the link above does not help, we would need to look into this a bit further and that usually requires some info that you should not share on a public forum (email address, purchase receipt) and as such if you could please contact us via affinityorders@serif.com either myself or one of my colleagues can take a look at this further for you.
