  1. Hi @Amgad, Welcome to the Affinity forum. Could you please contact affinity@serif.com so that we can go look in to this further for you in finer details.
  2. Hi Rudy, Welcome to the Affinity forum. I cannot locate any purchases in our database associated with your email address, so I am going to presume that you bought the apps through the Microsoft Store. If your Affinity app purchase was made through the Microsoft Store it is tied to you Microsoft Store account/ID, and will also not require a Product Key. If you need to install it again, run the Microsoft Store ensuring that you are signed in with the same account/credentials used to complete the purchase and the button which usually says "Buy" should instead say "Install", click on it to begin the installation of the program. If you bought direct from the Affinity Store, did you perhaps use another email address? (there is a gmail address similar to yours that has an account)
  3. Hi @John Bolton, Welcome to the Affinity forum. Please see this link from out Legacy forum; https://community.serif.com/tutorials/details/112738/redownloading-purchased-legacy-software
  5. Hi @JennieW, Welcome to the Affinity forum. Our licences are not transferable and you would need to purchase a separate Windows version to install on Windows. Each version is sold separately and each has its own licenses.
  6. Hi @Normanmailerr, Welcome to the Affinity forum. Please see this similar post from here on our forum;
  7. Hi Pavel, Welcome to the Affinity forum. As this is an App Store purchase, you can download the app again through the App Store. To download a previous order, open the Mac App Store and select 'Purchased'. You will be shown a list of your App Store orders, which will include your Affinity app (You will need to be logged into the Mac App Store using the same account that was used to purchase the app).
  8. Hi @John Hall, We do not have any plans for further sales this year, sorry.
  9. Hi @TGrelka, Welcome to the Affinity forum. We are not able to remove these from your account, sorry. The only solution for anyone that may stumble across this post in the future would be to contact us (affinity@serif.com) and we can remove the account from our database before a purchase is made. A new account will then be created during the purchase process without the previous info.
  10. Hi @waaf, Welcome to the Affinity forum. The platform we use for online orders is primarily for private users, as you can see when going through the process of buying because there is no facility to add EU VAT numbers meaning this is included in the shopping cart. While this is not made clear on the website, any company that is VAT registered should get in touch through the Business area of the site before finalising the order. In this instance I would encourage you to contact affinityorders@serif.com for assistance.
  11. Hi @liveseongho, Welcome to the Affinity forum. I can see that a member of the team has since responded to you. Please accept our apologies for the delayed response during what is an extremely busy time for us.
  12. Hi Mari97, Welcome to the Affinity Forum. We can only presume that there was a small window between our sale ending on the App Store and us extending it. Our advice would be to ask Apple for a refund and then purchase again at the lower price.
  13. Hi @Mark Oehlschlager, I'm not 100% certain as I've never done it myself and I only have an iPhone and iPad to hand, but they both offer a Gift App option for paid apps, so I suspect the Mac App Store will too. I suspect that the only downside would be that they will receive it instantly.
  14. Hi Annalena, The team are extremely busy due to the Black Friday event but they will get back to you as soon as they can. We can reassure you that you are not being ignored, they are just helping people who contact them before yourself. Please try to refrain from sending multiple requests for help as it will only increase the workload and decrease the response times.
  16. Hi @Onetonsoup22, Welcome to the Affinity forum. Could you please contact affinityorders@serif.com and they will be able to look in to this for you.
  17. Hi Islander, I can arrange for you to place an order for a redemption code which you can then pass on to allow the recipient to create their own account and receive the app through our site. If this is something you would like to do, please send an email letting us know your location and your preferred payment method to affinity@serif.com. (we offer PayPal, Credit/Debit card or bank transfer)
  18. Hi @Eliphant, Welcome to the Affinity forum. Unfortunately it is not possible to merge two Affinity Store accounts, sorry.
  19. Hi @Des, Welcome to the Affinity forum. If you are able to purchase it now, you can download it whenever you need it. The only issue might be that the App Store requires you to be using a compatible device in order to complete the purchase.
  20. I think this would be something better discussed via email rather than a public forum (affinity@serif.com)
  21. Hi @Foddo, Welcome to the Affinity forum. After purchase you can use the app for as long as you wish and will receive all future 1.x updates. 2.0 will require a new purchase but we do not have information just yet regarding when it may be available. We do not have any plans for German tutorials ourselves but there are a few content creators on YouTube who create German tutorials.
  22. Hi @Benedict Alubisia, I think we may have already spoken on the phone earlier today, but in the even that you are a different Benedict or someone else is viewing this page - our WebPlus line has now been discontinued and is no longer available for purchase. It may be possible to still find copies sold on Amazon or similar online marketplaces, but we would discourage buying a copy as the range is no longer supported or updated.
  23. Hi @maliboo2k4, Welcome to the Affinity forum. We do not offer exchanges, but if you email affinityreturns@serif.com to request a refund, you can them purchase the correct product.
  24. Hi @Milla, It is not possible to transfer Affinity Store purchases to the App Store. We can see that you have purchased a fair few licences directly through the Affinity Store as advise that if you do require any licences in the future, to contact corpsales@serif.com who may be able to assist you with business discounts.
  25. This is feedback is posted on behalf of a user who contacted affinity@serif.com to whom it may concern: I did a download Affinity Photo 1.7 Win and would like to provide the following feedback: Current work flow: Current work flow is to prepare raw image sets for pano stitching in Capture 1 and export them as tiffs; The tiffs are batch processed in Piccure and batch aligned in PTGui as layered and masked PSB files; these file are batch blended in PS; from then on processing is essentially manual but aided by actions for my most common tasks; I was looking to what extent Affinity could replace PS CS6 in my workflow. Overall summary of experience: At this stage I feel Affinity does have potential, but is still quite far away from being a PS alternative to be used in my workflow. However I wish it was an alternative to PS CS6, hence providing the detailed feedback. I'm looking for non subscription based alternatives as only with charges for upgrades there are incentives to develop worthy features for new releases. IMO subscription based offerings have the tendency to be stagnant with product considered to be mature and in maintenance mode. Software environment: Adobe PS CS6 x64 Various plugins from the following vendors: Nik; Topaz labs; Piccure; Imagenomic Raw Converter: Capture 1 version 10 Pano Merging: PTGui Computer hardware: CPU: i7 4930k RAM: 64Gb GPU: Nvidia Quadro M4000 8Gb Tablet: Wacom Intuos Pro L OS: Win 8.1 x64 on dedicated SSD; swap file, paging file and temp environment variables on separate dedicated SSDs; PS scratch disk on PCIe SSD; project working files on twin SAS HDD in RAID0; final works stored on NAS systems Screen main: 32” 4k 3840 x 2160 Screen supplement: 22” 1080 x 1920 portrait orientation Affinity photo tested with 39614 x 9968px stitched pano work file imported as a layered PSB file from PS: Trying to set up the Studio tiles on the supplement monitor: Is quite similar to PS but the lay-out cannot be saved as a custom setup; it takes a lot of time to set up from scratch from default and it got lost once after a program crash and needed to be set up again; every now and then I do something stupid in PS too and workspace gets messed up, but I just click on the various saved layouts to get them back; can't do this in Affinity Scratch Disk: I can’t see anywhere under “Preferences” that I can set up an overflow disk; with my files being quite large and plug ins being used, it would be preferable to manage distribution of data across the various disk drives on bigger systems like mine where there are choices. Menu Font Size: In Windows 8 there is no easy application based GUI font size scaling available and can only be affected via a manifest file; It would be good for Affinity Photo to include menu font size scaling options for high resolution monitors used with older OS. During the test some of the pull down menus did reduce temporally to some very small lettering (4mm high on a 32” 4K monitor) for some time (glitch) before reverting back to same size as the other pull down menus. Tool Icons: The tool icons look nice and colourful, but are in my opinion hard to recognise; PS tools are a lot more graphic and hence more distinct; suggest to think about colour not to make icons more fancy, but as an aid to separate tools better Tool settings: I could not see the buttons on my graphics pen activate any tool option break out dialogue but haven't fiddled with the Wacom interface to perhaps get something set up. GUI custom brightness sliders: The two sliders for brightness don’t seem have an effect at all, only the gamma slider and the bright/dark toggle work. There is no indicator for the gamma slider to make this setting consistent with the contrast settings during display profiling. Rulers: I couldn’t figure out how to change the rulers from pixels to mm. GPU acceleration: Lack of GPU hardware acceleration is already acknowledged by Sarif as being worked on. As is, some manipulations with my test file resulted in lengthy processing delays with Windows showing message that program is no longer responding; it just did take a little time to catch up on occasions once I build up a layer stack Blur and selection feathering limits: At present the blur limits (various tools) are just 100px which is nowhere near enough for smooth blending on high resolution images; I would not like to go back to anything less than a 5000px brush limit, 2000px Box blur, 1000px selection mask limit that is available in PS CS6. Work file saving: The resultant multi layer work file of the test session could not be saved. The PSD export created an error (probably file size too large) but pressing just save also failed. With this work file being based on an imported PSB file, I’m not sure whether this would require a “save as” approach, thought of this possibility too late. Program should offer alternative formats of original document format is not available.
