  1. From the App Store. Understand the reasoning, will be on the look out!
  2. It was a while back, but I couldn't save anywhere - don't recall if I tried the Desktop. Been busy being made redundant so haven't had a lot of time for creative stuff... When I get the opportunity I'll try to replicate it and report back - I think there has been an update since, so maybe it's been fixed? Pigs/wings/wishful thinking etc...
  3. Permissions are all Read and Write everywhere. I don't use iCloud for photos, but checked and Desktop and Docs are not checked but all Affinity apps are. Don't recall saying no to an access request, but AP isn't listed in security prefs...
  4. ...and I can save Publisher files to that exact same location!
  5. Screenshots of error messages - first is for Save As, second is for Export.
  6. Same problem here, just trying to save or export to local drive (previously no problem at all). Just AP, Designer is OK. Tells me I don't have permission to save to that drive. AP 1.7.1 on 2017 MacBookPro running 10.14.5
  7. Lightbulb proved correct! Resizing works as I'd expect when I set the dimensions from the panel or from the handles as long as I do that from the get-go - resizing the whole table to fit the page just treats it like an image, so the app maintains the relative dimensions of the original table. Now I understand the behaviour I can understand it, and can understand why it would be useful for it to behave like that. I've not used tables in DTP before, can you tell?
  8. No I created it as 4 x 4 as that was what I wanted, then resized the table to fit the page, then went to resize the rows. So (lightbulb) maybe it's the resizing that's done it; maybe I need to resize using the panel or handles rather than just enlarging the whole... Will give that a go when I get home.
  9. Can't take a screenshot at the same time as resizing the table row, but see attached annotated to show where I'm looking. I have the row selected, and resize using the arrow handles as circled; the cell size in the Table panel shows the correct height, no idea what the 5.0mm measurement is! If I resize using the field in the Table panel, I put in 15.0 and it just changes it to 80.9 mm... Is there a fixed ratio setting somewhere that I'm missing? (MacBook Pro 2017/High Sierra)
  10. I've been trying to resize rows and columns in a table (no text in there yet, I want to get it to the right size first). The Table pane changes anything I put into the cell dimensions (I try to put in a row height of 15mm and it changes it to 91.8mm). I can resize it manually but the callout figures next to the resize handle don't match the sizes in the pane. I resize the row so that it reads 15mm, but the callout reads 2.5mm. Am I missing something basic here?!
