First let me describe what I want to do by an alternate (non AP) method.
Say you have two open windows in AP, where you want to copy the color legend
in the window 1 plot image onto the plot image in window 2.
I use the grab application in the MAC utility tool box and clip out (copy) the legend
in window 1 and then simply paste it into the appropriate spot in the window 2 plot image.
How can I do this same operation using the AP tools?
I tried using the AP crop tool (in place of the Mac's grab utility), but when I tried
to paste the cropped legend into window 2, it ended up being a huge sized legend (maybe 5 times the original size),
with undesirable large gaps between the handles and pasted legend .
Using the grab utility app on the Mac did not change the size of the pasted legend and had nice desirable tight gaps between the handles and legend.
