  1. Trying a focus stack tomorrow. Usual workflow is SD card-Lightroom-Affinity-Lightroom. Will there be any issues with SD card-Affinity (to merge)-Lightroom? What format should I save to my hard drive from Affinity? Tif?
  2. I have stumbled upon this after struggling with the brush on my first ever attempt. I seem to have sorted it simply by clicking on "current layer and below" at the top of the image.
  3. Brilliant thanks. Going to search the forum now to see what others have said about using it with Lightroom
  4. Sounds logical. Is that normal? Does installing AF automatically make itself the default file type then? I assume you can change this? Excuse my ignorance. I'm certainly not being dismissive of AF as like I say I was impressed and I do intend to buy it but it will just be used secondary to Lightroom
  5. Hi, I don't have the laptop anymore as I moved to a mac. I am cautious about downloading it as a consequence. I'm pleased you say this is impossible but I'm certain that's what happened. I only edited a handful of images with AF but I found that all of my RAW were changed until I uninstalled the programme.
  6. As it was only the trial I cannot recall. I think I understand the point you're making but what I'm trying to say is that changes were made uniformly to ALL my images not just the one I saved. They all became AF images and I didn't like the monopoly. I am keen to purchase the software but I don't want this to happen
  7. I'm keen to download and use Affinity as an external editor for Lightroom on my new MacBook. I previously downloaded the Affinity trial on my old window PC. I didn't like the fact however that Affinity Photo appeared to hi jack all of my pictures whether I had imported them into Affinity Photo or now. When I navigated to view them on the hard drive they all displayed the Affinity Photo logo. When I subsequently moved these to my Mac I couldn't initially open some as they were Affinity Photo files (or whatever that file format may be). Is there any way to stop this? I don't want Affinity Photo taking over my images on my hard drive. I just want to edit them and send them back to Lightroom.
