There are genuinely no plans for us to remove the availability of our apps to purchase as a perpetual licence. I will say it is possible in the future there may be an optional way to have them via a Canva subscription plan (which could also include other integrations with Canva / cloud services which you would not get with the perpetual version). But it’s very early days and there isn't a firm plan on that.
I honestly think you'll all be pleased with the outcome of this. With the additional financial backing we have no pressure at all to release a V3 anytime soon, so can be 100% focused on ploughing all our efforts into free V2 updates for the foreseeable future - and we've got some great updates in the works. 
Realise this announcement has come as a surprise and I understand the feeling of uncertainty which is brings, but I do think it's all very positive for the company and our customers.

Must be the same, yes. For me it _looks_ like it only opens one picture, but that is because the tabs are missing. When I close one picture, the next one is open "behind" it.

I suppose canvas rotation is something you added to AP to be consistent with AD.

I'm never going to use it, though - could you let me turn it off in Preferences? It keeps happening while I edit my photos. Of course I can get used to View - Reset rotation, but it would be nice not having to.

(I'd still like to be able to turn canvas rotation off as it happens a lot since Beta 1.3.5.7 when I zoom photos - which is really often.)

I've added the afp number. Notice how it's older than the afp numbers in your newer replies! I definitely logged it—I just forgot to add it here, sorry!

This issue is now fixed in Affinity Photo Beta 1.8.0.168 GM (Mac) and in an upcoming Beta build on Windows.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience this is still causing you. The Crop code has been subject to various changes/improvements over the last few versions and it's still not working right. I will pass this to Andy and bump/update the report again.

Hello curtds

When you have the pixel layer selected and try to use the inpainting tool, do you see the red marking where you want to inpaint? If yes, maybe the transparency is set too low (I always have it on 100% for inpainting).

If the red marking doesn't appear: can you close the photo and open it again and use inpainting as the first step?

If both aren't helping: would you post a screenshot of the Layers panel?

Some of the settings are sticky by now, for example some for cropping. It might be best if you start a new thread * and state _in the title_ of the thread which sticky setting(s) you are missing.

* I don't think there's an active Beta at the moment, so maybe rather in the feature request forum.
