Thank you, I'd like to try that. Being dense atm though. In the help text for custom keyboard shortcut I see: From the initial two pop-up menus, filter shortcuts by Persona and then by UI Element, respectively. From the lower shortcut list, click in the box (containing empty or existing shortcut) at the end of a shortcut entry for the shortcut you want to change. Press your chosen keyboard key(s) to assign. This adds the new shortcut or overwrites the assigned shortcut. When I click on Preferences - Keyboard Shortcuts I see what's on the screenshot and don't get any further.

> I just wanted to try out the inpainting tool on an image I didn't care about. Ah - then I won't spend a lot of time on it, either. What I did - make the radius of the inpainting brush quite small - remove one part of the person at a time: first the head, then one piece of leg etc. - important: don't paint over the fence When it doesn't work, go back a step with cmd + z and try again. I think it would help you if you tried with a less complex picture first, for example a branch of a tree you want to remove from the blue sky or in your example picture remove the window of the barn (this can be done with one click if you make the brush radius big enough to cover the whole window at once).

> remove a person in a quite small area of a photo Could you post the image? --- Yes, the inpainting tool works like magic - in a lot of cases! For me, this feature alone would be worth the price of Affinity Photo. But sometimes I can't get it to do what I'm trying to fix - although it looks easy to my eyes. I've found that in these cases being able to replace a certain colour with another one would really help me (https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/10190-photo-replace-one-colour-with-another-like-red-eye-removal-but-with-colour-picker). For Ola's picture that would mean being able to replace the white of the panel with either the blue of the moustache or with one of the greens from the surroundings; the panel would still be there (as would the black writing), but it would be more discreet.

Hi Since Beta 1.3.5.7 I sometimes see a thin white line at the borders of my pictures. It happens for the vertical pictures when I open them, for some of the other formats when I zoom them larger. I can learn to ignore them; it might have to do with my Preferences settings, which I want on Bilinear. Letting you know because it's not happening in AP 1.3.5 (released), where I have the same settings in Preferences - Performance.
