  1. If indeed AP uses the so-called "Lensfun" library, the XT2 is not on their list yet (March 18, 2017), and the list of lenses is far from complete, at least fir Nikkor. Check if your Fuji lenses are on it.
  2. The fact that the RAW developer uses a library that's far from exhaustive is a blocking point for me and will prevent me from migrating to AP. My D810 is on the list, but my Fuji X-Pro 2 is not, even though it's by no means a very recent model. As regards lenses, I see some of my Nikkor lenses on the list, but not all of them (the 24/1.4 and the 35/1.4 are missing, most notably (!), and not all characteristics are corrected (for example, vignetting is not corrected on the 85/1.4 nor on the 300/4). My two Zeiss lenses (the 15mm and the 135mm) are not on the list, and neither is my Voigtländer 58/1.4. That is a major problem.
  3. Many thanks! I'm watching the video tutorials and this software looks more and more convincing, I must say.
  4. Oops, sorry, just noticed where in the interface I think those blend modes are...
  5. Hello, I have tried to search the forum but did not find any relevant results. Still contemplating migrating from Photoshop, there is one tool that I often use and that is "blend modes". In Photoshop, you duplicate a layer (say, the background), and then you can apply various "blend modes" to the upper one, such as Multiply, or Overlay, Soft light, etc. There is a good two dozen of them, altough I only use two or three. It is not obvious from looking at Photo's interface if those possibilities also exist. Do they? Where can they be found? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  6. Many thanks! Can't imagine why Serif wouldn't have that resource online, it is a key element in convincing prospects to switch from Photoshop!
  7. Hello everyone, I'm a Photoshop user who foes not want to go the subscription route, therefore I am contemplating moving to Affinity. I will be asking a couple of questions regarding features of this new software here on the forum, but I would also like to be able to browse through the manual, so as to get a feel for the product and how comfortable I might feel using it. I have found online many manuals and quickstart guides for Serif products, but not one for the current version of their flagship product... Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. Dominique
