Just getting to grips with Affinity Photo and working with RAW files. Am I correct in assuming the following:
- I open a raw file and 'Develop' persona is selected.
- I can work on the raw file until I am happy with it.
- Then I must select 'Develop' again (or select 'Photo' persona). At this point the modifications to the raw image are committed and can no longer be undone. The original raw file remains unchanged.
- I am then in 'Photo' persona where I can 'save as' as an afphoto file, much like a project file.
- If I were to close then reload the afphoto file I cannot go back into 'Develop' and undo any original changes that I made?
It's just that I cannot find a good workflow description anywhere.
Thanks

Great... Thanks for that. Is there a video, manual or help file that covers this topic? I found lots about the detail of actually editing the raw image but nothing that covers the actual workflow itself. I have been using DPP from Canon to edit raw images as it saves the changes as metadata inside the file itself but then have to export as TIFF to work with it in AP. This does produce an extra step, big extra file and not such a nice one-stop-shop.
Thanks
