  1. Hi, How can I view/edit the displacement map of a live Displacement filter? How can I view/edit the bump map of a live Lightning filter?
  2. I use Affinity Photo 1.5.1.54 on Win10/64. I have an image with 2 layers. The bottom layer is completely opaque with no transparency, the top layer only have a few brush strokes, otherwise transparent. I would like to run an Apply Image on the top layer with the bottom layer being the source. My problem is that I can't get the source layer in the correct position. There is an option to scale horizontally and scale vertically the source layer however this shrinks the source layer to the bounding box of my brush strokes. I just want it in it's original position, filling the canvas. If I uncheck the scale checkboxes, it places the source layer in an arbitrary position which is neither the canvas corner, nor the layer bounding box corner, nor centered on the layer bounding box. What determines the position of the source layer when the scale checkboxes are unchecked? Is it possible to - set position for the source layer - align it to canvas boundary?
  3. For example the eraser tool with no layer selected, just does nothing silently. Some notification would have helped. It took some time to realize what is the problem, as it could have been for multiple other reasons, such as the opacity sliders fully down.
  4. It would be nice to implement plugins which can be used as live filters in Affinity Photo. Please provide API for that. Even if it would mean the same plugin would not work with Photoshop.
  5. Please add a right click menu item for viewing mask (same as alt-click on mask icon) Add another one for selecting luminocity (like ctrl-shift click) I think it would be best placed in Select menu in the select tonal range submenu. Also for compound shape creation (same as alt-click on Add, Substract) Not having menu items are bad for discoverability of features, and makes the impression that the feature is missing.
  6. Maximum Saturation sounds interesting, however I was probably expressing myself not clearly enough. What was trying to achieve is to have my upper layer only be blended to parts where the lower layer is more saturated, which is the same you can do with Blend Ranges if I would want to blend based on luminosity, only the channel selection is missing for saturation. I would think this to be very much doable without major effort in the software, as it already allows to work with HSL in other places.
  7. I am interested in this as well. If nothing else at least make channels of HSL and LAB selectable as filters in blend ranges to make it possible to make a layer transparent where the underlying is more saturated for example, in a non-destructive way.
