  1. The difficulty here, is it's more like art than logo.

Logo are usually conceive with simplicity in mind to be able to reduce them, or only use part of them as small references.

With a simple Google search, I found sites giving good advices (focus on the illustrations):
    https://venngage.com/blog/logo-design-tips/
    https://www.logaster.com/blog/25-famous-brands-logos/

And bad ones... with icons or illustrations instead of logo... either they don't know what they're talking about, or just produce content with whatever illustrations they found.

I can confirm that our developers have previously confirmed that we aim to use 100% of available resources, including the CPU so this is not unexpected.

I'm not sure it's a good idea... like the others said, it would be a return to the past to have apps that hung the whole computer and needing to be used as in old Apple II mode: 1 app at a time, stop everything else.

    Or I misunderstood.

But today, we need different apps running, checking and answering emails... work is multitasks.

  3. I don't know where this is going... back to the subject.

If some improvements were made to solve this problem, it seems in some situations we end up with more nodes than needed. Different possibility as "add node" (in the middle of each segments) and simplify nodes (to reduce the numbers of nodes, keeping the curves), would be nice in the apps.

  4. And for info, when we check adds send by cutomers, we check embedded fonts, colour profile, paper size, amount of bleed and that the trim box is centered.
No need for colours bars nor "hirondelles" (registration marks).

Page information can be usefull if files aren't renamed (_v1, _v2, etc.), to check it's the lastest version (time), after client applied corrections if the previous file(s) didn't respected the specifications.

  5. You can unlock the background in 2 ways:

Clicking on the lock on the layer, or selecting an object or more and unlocking with the lock button on the panel:

You can select the mask or another adjustement by developping the layers, or clicking on the mask square

And if you want, you can drag the mask above the image or "free" it in the context menu (right-click):

Once the mask selected, clipped to the image or above the image, you'll be able to move it.
